Our Client is a conglomerate that specialises in delivering world-class initiatives across its various business lines in waste management, printing services, quarry operations and support services for the Oil & Gas industry among others. It now seeks to recruit highly motivated, experienced and passionate professional to be part of its teams.
One (1) of the four (4) Finance Manager positions will be located in Sierra Leone. Successful candidates will report to the General Manager of the respective lines of business and will be tasked with:
- Developing, implementing and maintaining policies and procedures to ensure the efficient and effective management of the finances of the company;
- Coordinating the preparation of annual budgets and cash flow projections, and ensuring budgetary control;
- Developing and maintaining accounting procedures and systems for the assessment and processing of financial data;
- Ensuring effective controls to safeguarding assets and the reliability of financial statements;
- Managing tax matters of the company to ensure compliance with fiscal regulations and legally required financial controls
Required Skills or Experience
The preferred candidates must:
- Have a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and/or MBA in Finance and must be a Chartered Accountant, preferably, with ACCA, CA, or CPA with at least 5 years post qualification experience;
- Be conversant with finance and accounting procedures in any of the following industries: Waste Management, Printing Quarry and Oil & Gas;
- Have strong interpersonal, communication, report writing and presentation skills, strong numeric and financial management skills;
- Be conversant with relevant accounting software applications as well as proficiency in Microsoft Suite;
- Have proven financial analysis and forecasting ability
