Deputy Director of Finance (Management Accounting)
The Tamale Teacher Hospital is an agency of the Mininstry of Health responsible for tertiary health care delivery, teaching and research.
Job Description
The Deputy Director of Finance (Expenditure Management) shall be responsible for analysing the cost behaviour of individual departments, and implement strategies to minimise costs.
Main Responsibilities:
The successful candidate shall put in place effective mechanisms that will:
Advertisement
- Improve overall management accounting systems;
- Co-ordination of budget preparation and analysing variances for informed decision making
- Preparation of monthly departmental/responsibility accounts
- Preparation of projects and contract accounts
- Any other duties that may be assigned
Required Skills or Experience
- Prospective candidate must be a Chartered Accountant with a minimum of five (5) years related experience
