Tema Development Corporation (TDC) is a public institutiion created in 1952 to plan, develop and manage the township of Tema. TDC, a leader and a facilitator of estate development in this country.
Job Description
Under the supervision of the Director of Administration, this position assists in the general administration of personnel matters:
Compile month-by-month employee strength list
Process requisitions for casual and contract labour departments
Ensure that all documentation on staff is properly filed
Process paperwork for new employees – S.S.F. beneficiary forms, placement on payroll, etc
Liaise with employee representatives to handle matters concerning welfare e.g. bereavements, hospitalizations etc
Required Skills or Experience
Must have up-to-date knowledge of the country’s labour laws
Have the ability to adhere to strict deadlines and under minimum supervision
Must be computer literate with knowledge of Microsoft Office Suit
Must be able to communicate effectively both orally and in writing
A first degree in Administration, Industrial Psychology or its equivalent
Must be a member of the Institute of Human Resource Management Practitioners, Ghana
Must have five (5) years working experience in similar capacity
