Incumbent will report to Clients Project Manager and will be responsible for all site technical and construction related issues.
Co-ordination between Client, Consultant, Contractors & Sub-Contractors, TPI Local Authorities etc.

Job Description

Job Title: Project Manager 

·       Be an in-charge of interface co-ordination with any other Contractors / sub-contractors and related technical co-ordination with engineering discipline specialists.

·       Experience in supervision of contractors works including, Civil, Structural / Earth Works fabrication, Electrical & Instrumentation installation, testing, painting, commissioning of Oil & Gas facilities, particularly Oil Storage tanks, vessels, associated piping and pipelines, oil jetty etc., is a must.

·       Installation, testing, pre-commissioning & commissioning of various static and rotary equipment including pumps, compressors, package equipment etc.,

·       Close monitoring of site progress, working with contractor to improve production efficiency.

·       Checking and certification of Contractors site progress certificates with respect to the actual progress.

·       Maintain latest copies of all drawings and documents at the site office.

·       Ensure that works are carried out as per the latest & approved drawings and applicable engineering Codes & Standards, Client and Local Authority requirements etc

·       Ensure that proper HSE and Quality control is maintained for all the works being carried out at site.

·       Ensure that inspected and certified material is used for construction.

·       Ensure that approved materials only are used in the works.

·       Preparation of Punch lists for mechanical completion of Tanks, Equipment, Piping and Pipelines, including for fire water/ foam systems.

·       Process and resolve concession & deviation requests, non-conformities etc. from the Contractors.

·       Conduct regular Construction Progress meeting with Contractor and all Sub-Contractors and attend weekly HSE meetings and safety walks.

·       Participate in weekly progress review meetings and engineering discussions and meeting as required.

·       Follow-up with Contractor and necessary interaction with statutory authorities to ensure that that contractor obtains and performs work on necessary permits, approvals.

·       Review, comment and approve the construction related deliverables submitted by Contractors, including procedures, method statements, Itps etc.

·       Witness all destructive & non-destructive tests, examinations etc. by the Contractors.

Qualification

Essential (with Specialization)

Has B. Tech / B.E., Mechanical Engineering discipline

Preferred

Has hands on experience with Storage tanks, Pipelines & Oil Jetties. Must have knowledge of codes and standards API and ASTM standards.
Knowledge of fire-fighting systems in oil and gas industry, including codes of NFPA.

Additional qualification/certification

Project Engineering or Project Management experience in Oil & Gas.
