Tullow’s second major discovery and subsequent development in Ghana is the TEN field where first oil was successfully achieved on time and on budget in August 2016.

Job Description

Job Title: Lead Reservoir Engineer

Tullow Ghana Limited is seeking to hire an Lead Reservoir Engineer based in Accra who will be responsible for manage and optimise field performance, delivering against predictions of budget and field development plans  including:

• Optimising and maintaining the subsurface development plans for the fields, including in well locations and schedule
• Supporting development drilling activity
• Monitoring, analysing and optimising well and reservoir performance
• Coordinating and conducting reservoir engineering analytical studies and assessments, and data acquisition programmes.
• Providing ranges on production forecasting and reserve assessments.
• Training and mentoring graduate trainees and secondees.
• Supporting exploration activities

You will be an experienced Reservoir Engineer having worked in various assets in the Upstream Offshore environment, knowledge of deep water turbidites an advantage

You will be able to demonstrate experience in the following areas:

• Petroleum engineering degree or equivalent qualification
• Strong operational reservoir engineering skills
• Strong modelling reservoir engineering skills
• Previous experience working as a significant contributor in a large integrated subsurface team multi in an overseas location
• Skilled user of standard upstream software packages such as KAPPA Saphir & Emeraude, PVTp, PETEX suite, ECLIPSE Suite and Petrel
• Proven Mentoring and training ability
• Analytical, proven problem solver
• Excellent communication skills – verbal and written
