Tullow Oil is a leading independent oil and gas exploration and production company with a portfolio of 119 licenses across 21 countries. Our focus is on finding and monetizing oil in Africa and the Atlantic Margins.
Since 2006, Tullow has had interests Ghana and was appointed as the Jubilee field Operator. First oil was achieved In November 2010 and has become Tullow’s key asset generating significant high-margin oil production. Tullow’s second major discovery and subsequent development in Ghana is the TEN field where first oil was successfully achieved on time and on the budget in August 2016.
Tullow Oil is a leading independent oil and gas exploration and production company. The Group has interests in over 100 exploration and production licenses across 18 countries which are managed as three Business Delivery Teams: West Africa, East Africa, and New Ventures.
We create value in two simple ways: we find oil and we sell oil. To achieve this we must execute exploration campaigns, deliver selective development projects, maintain our production and ensure we are suitably financed through a mix of diverse funding options and portfolio management
There are further exploration opportunities for Tullow Ghana including expanding Jubilee to include outlying deep-water reserves. More information can be found here Ghana BU
Our localization strategy is very important to us in order to deliver our growth ambitions within our shared prosperity philosophy. As such we are always looking to identify Ghanaian nationals who are either within Ghana or looking to relocate to Ghana, that will develop into our local staff, managers, and leaders who are capable of sustaining a world class business.
