Job Description

Ensures that maintenance programmes for the Oil Mill are carried out in line with plan agreed with the Factory Manager and within cost estimates. To arrange for statutory inspection of all such equipment and facilities as required by national legislation and Unilever corporate practices
Ensure regular maintenance of all dwelling houses, factory and other buildings in line with schedules agreed with the Estate Manager and within estimated costs. Also ensure efficient, timely and cost-effective maintenance of all vehicles/heavy equipment
Liaise with external service providers and other agencies for prompt and adequate supply of services and spares

Services:
Ensure constant supply of raw water to the factory and potable water to all residential houses and other villages within the company. In this regard to liaise with the SHE/QA Manager for regular analyses of water by the Mill Laboratory and external agencies
Ensure regular supply of electricity to the factory and all residential areas. Also to ensure satisfactory and timely maintenance of equipment providing such services within approved costs

Required Skills or Experience

Advertisement

BSc (Hons) Mechanical/Chemical Engineering with 2 years working experience
Safety, Health and Environment Management
Project Management skills
