Establish and coordinate the implementation of the SHE Management system in the Head Office, CD, BB and Logistics

Job Description

Job Title: GTM SAFETY MGR 

Main Accountabilities

· Implements Unilever Safe Travel Standard in Customer Development, Logistics and other field activities
· Implement Unilever SHE Standards in Warehousing and logistics
· Implements Unilever Contractor safety management for the head office, including Permit to Work approvals
· Ensure SHE compliance in all Unilever Outdoor and third party activities
· Coordinates emergency preparedness and management for the head office
· Monitors and reports all SHE deliverable KPIs for GTM SC, CD, BB and all other HQ employees
· Prepares suitable materials for, and coordinates smooth running of weekly SHE Talk (Value Life Value Safety)
· Provides support to the leadership team on all Safety engagements and other SHE KPIs
· Assists procurement with SHE pre-qualification and compliance audits for hotels, event places and other vendors
· Ensures the prevention, reporting, investigation and corrective measures for all accidents in Non-Make areas of the organisation
· Provides SHE supports to addresses concerns of all employees, contractors and visitors to the Head Office
· Provides Safety Induction support for the Head Office
· Assists the Coy SHE Manager with CSHEC, Sub-coms and the implementation of all arising actions from various safety committees.

· A degree/HND in Sciences or Engineering with at least 3 years of experience in a Manufacturing outfit
· SHE Audit experience
· Must be able to relieve Coy SHE Manager when away on leave or other official assignments.
