Job Description

Job Title: Resident Medical Doctor

To manage the Company’s Clinic in providing effective and efficient Health Care services to employees, their dependents and the surrounding communities, as well as promote and be involved in community Health and Occupational Health & Safety programmes.

Key Accountability

To promote, provide and maintain quality health care services for all employees, their dependents and the community.

To assist in the identification and assessment of potential hazards to occupational health in the working environment and offer the appropriate constructive Medical advice and management.

To carry out periodic Medical examination and Health screening on employees exposed to hazards as well as recording, monitoring and analyzing all cases of sickness and ill-health or injury at work place due to accidents at work and providing appropriate Medical treatment and advice.

To champion all Health education programs on subjects such as food hygiene, diet exercise, smoking, HIV/AIDs and provide surveillance of food handlers’ hygiene in catering areas.

To be responsible for the effective management and development of Company’s Medical facility and staff.

To ensure optimal relationship, consultations and liaise with the Group Medical Adviser (Unilever Ghana), local statutory bodies in the region and to contribute fully in the implementation of all Safety, Health and Environmental Care programmes and plans for the company.

Qualifications

1.Must have MBChB with 3 years’ minimum post qualification

2.Must be a registered member with the Medical and Dental Counsel.

Primary Location: Ghana-Central-Twifo Praso-Twifo Oil Palm Plantation

Schedule: Full-time
