The University College of Management Studies (UCOMS) evolved out of the Institute of Management Studies(IMS), a Tutorial College which prepared students for professional qualifications (certificates) in Marketing (Chartered Institute of Marketing – CIM), Accounting (Association of Chartered Certified Accountants – ACCA) and Purchasing and Supply (Chartered Institute of Purchasing and Supply – CIPS). Students have since 1978 been taking United Kingdom external examinations in these professions.
UCOMS is seeking to appoint new members to who will play a leading role in the University College.
Job Description
Job Title: Business Development International Relations (BDIR) Officer
Qualification Required & Experience
Applicants must
• Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in a related field of Business Administration preferably Marketing, Communication or Human Resource Management plus an Advanced University Degree will be desirable
• 2 years experience in private sector business or economic development related positions (preferably in an education/training division or consulting environment). The successful candidate should have a capacity to influence and convince others and possess experience of Public Speaking and representation
• Build new relationships with renowned Universities and business professional bodies. He/she should have confidence in dealing with would be students during admission exercise of mature students and the youth at the second – cycle schools
Location: Accra
