A fast growing rural bank with Head Office in the Central Region is seeking to employ qualified professional / persons to fill the following position: ICT Manager
Job Description
Job Title: ICT Manager
Role:
• To advise the bank on technology and how it can help it perform better and also oversee new systems and innovation design and development.
• He/She will be responsible for planning, justification and evaluation of ICT projects
Key Duties & Responsibilities
• Develop and implement ICT policy and best practice guides for the Bank
• Provide direction for the ICT team
• Oversee and determine time frames for major IT projects, including system updates, upgrades, migrations and outages
• Preserve asset by implementing disaster recovery and back-up procedures, information security and control structures
• Manage and report on allocation of IT budget.
• Identify opportunities for team training and skills advancement
• Run regular checks on ICT network and data security
• Conduct regular system audits
• Run and share regular operation system reports with management
Qualification Required & Experience
• First Degree in Computer Science or its equivalent certification
• Second Degree in MBA, MIS option would be an added advantage
• At least 5 years in banking experience of which 3 years must be in a top management level particularly in a rural bank
