Job Description

Job Title:  Marketing & Communications Manager

Purpose of Position

• As a key Management position, the person will primarily drive the positioning of the institution on the market, to reflect the unique attributes of VisionFund Ghana. The person will manage the day to day activities of the department and ensure the realisation of the strategic marketing and communications objectives of the institution

Major Responsibilities

• Manage, develop and coordinate all marketing campaign and strategies for the institution and activities within the marketing department
• Creation and publication of all marketing material in line with marketing plans
• Planning and implementing promotional campaigns
• Manage and improve lead generation campaigns, measuring results
• Working closely with design agencies, research agencies and assisting with new product launches
• Maintain effective internal communications strategy for the institution
• Implement communications plan to increase brand awareness and recognition for the institution
• Developing relationships with key media to secure and grow media coverage both online and offline
• Collate and analyse communications and messages and ensure consistency in
• Develop and lead the institution’s internal communication strategy
• Working with the Global communications team to align in-country communications initiatives to global standards

Qualification Required & Experience

• Bachelor Degree in Marketing
• Qualified Chartered Marketer / Masters Degree in Marketing is an added advantage
• Strong analytical and project management skills
• Confident and dynamic personality
• Previous experience as a Marketing and Communications Manager for a similar institution or role written communications and presentation skills are essential
