This position reports directly to the General Manager and is located in the Akosombo area.
Purpose of the job:
Responsible for the overall human resource needs and activities that relate to the day-to-day operations of the Company.
Key Responsibilities:
- Recruiting and staffing
- Organisational departmental planning
- Performance management and improvement systems
- Organisation development
- Employment and compliance to regulatory concerns regarding employees
- Employee on boarding, development, needs assessment, and training
- Policy development and documentation
- Employees relations
- Company employee and community communication
- Compensation and benefits administration
- Employee safety, welfare, wellness and health
- Employee services and counselling
Required Skills or Experience
Skills/Competencies Required:
- Extensive knowledge of Labour Laws of Ghana
- Strong communication skills (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills
- Proven ability to manage people and resources
- Keen eye for details
- Strong supervisory skills
- Strong computer literacy skills
Minimum Requirements:
- At least a good First Degree from any reputable tertiary institution
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in similar field
