We are currently sourcing a Construction Manager for a turret remediation project to be primarily based offshore Ghana with other ad-hoc travel to Houston and Singapore.

Job Title: Construction Manager

Detailed Description

• Drive, supervise and help control all project construction activities both onshore and offshore and to manage a complete construction team including construction team and contractors and vendors. Ensure proper implementation, preparation, and execution of job cards and Work Packs.
• Assist in the management of subcontracts. Management and reporting of interfaces with fabricators for construction including clearance of punch list activities and mechanical completion up to hand over to Operations.
• Participating in the early phase of the planning to provide constructability input and to be involved in the development work pack / Job card with Construction Engineering Subcontractors, providing Brownfield expertise throughout the project.
• To ensure adequate and qualified supervision and skilled labour resources are engaged to meet requirements.
• Ensures that all construction works are undertaken to required designs, specification, standards and QHSE requirements.
• Monitor and report to Project Manager of project details, including progress, risks and opportunities in a timely manner.
• Ensures all changes to specifications, work scope and drawings are documented.
• To hold Tool Box Talks every morning before the start of each shift. The Tool Box Talk must include the work scope intended for that day. Construction Manager must be satisfied by the end of the talk that the entire workforces are aware of their duties for that day. It is the responsibility of the Construction Manager to provide additional advice to any individual who is unclear of their duties for that day.
• To liaise with OIM, operation area authority as required.

Job Requirements

• Previous experience in a similar type role, ideally in an international environment.
• Prior turret remediation experience would also be advantageous.
