World Vision International<\/strong> is a Christian relief, development and advocacy organization dedicated to working with children, families and their communities worldwide to reach their full potential by tackling the causes of poverty and injustice. For over two decades. World Vision has been working with urban and rural communities in all the 10 Regions of Ghana to improve provision of water, promote sanitation and hygiene practices and quality education.<\/p>\n

World Vision through a USAID funded Education project in Ghana known as the Transition and Persistence Program (TAP). The TAP project seeks to increase access to junior High School (JHS) by re\/constructing and rehabilitating of junior high schools to increase access to equitable and quality education for schools in the rural communities of Ghana.<\/p>\n

Job Description<\/strong><\/p>\n

Job Summary:<\/strong>
\nTo coordinate P&C activities within the Ghana Rural Water Project and provide administration support to the project team<\/p>\n

Job Responsibilities:<\/strong><\/p>\n

Provide interpretation & application of terms and conditions of service to all employees, and liaise with D\/HR on rollout of new initiatives
\nSupport the Project Manager in the following HR activities – recruitment, transfers, promotions and disciplinary issues
\nFacilitate the preparation and processing of appraisals and liaise with HR Division on ratings allocated to staff
\nCollate training needs within the Base office and ADPs for incorporation into the annual training plan
\nEnsure proper administration and updating of records, managing correspondence, provision of protocol, guest relations and other administrative services
\nEnsure daily cleanliness of the office and other facilities and timely maintenance of office equipment
\nLiaise with National Office and the project in the administration of annual and sick leave
\nManage the stores at the project – procurement of office logistics, tracking stocks and issuing of suppliers
\nSupport well being and welfare activities in the project
\nRequired Skills or Experience<\/p>\n

Person Specification: <\/strong><\/p>\n

A university degree in the social sciences
\n2 years experience in the Administrative\/HR environment
\nCertification in HRM (foundation level)
\nGood communication and strong interpersonal sills
\nBasic knowledge of Ghana Labour Laws and their implications
\nAbility to operate basic office equipment (overhead projectors, photocopiers, scanners)
\nThe preferred candidate must, be a committed Christian.<\/p>\n
