The Esaase project is an advanced exploration property near Kumasi with ongoing exploration and development programs. More information on Keegan and the Esaase project can be found on <strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.keeganresources.com\">www.keeganresources.com<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Description<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The objectives of this new role are to develop and implement safety programmes in accordance with company policies and Ghanaian legislation. The job will be full time and based at the Esaase Gold Project site<\/p>\n<p>Reporting to the GM &#8211; Health, Safety, Environment and Community, the incumbent&#8217;s responsibility will include:<\/p>\n<p>Leading the development and documentation of risk management and standard operating procedures within a framework of continuous improvement<br \/>\nLeading and\/or participating in incident reporting, investigation, finding root causes and taking remedial action<br \/>\nConducting safety inductions for all visitors and new employees<br \/>\nCoordinating safety training for employees<br \/>\nCarrying out routine inspections of workplaces<br \/>\nTracking and reporting progress on safety initiatives<br \/>\nRequired Skills or Experience<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Requirements:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>A degree or equivalent in engineering or earth science discipline.
