{"id":1046,"date":"2010-10-05T10:10:34","date_gmt":"2010-10-05T10:10:34","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/joblistghana.com\/?p=1046"},"modified":"2016-11-14T06:20:07","modified_gmt":"2016-11-14T06:20:07","slug":"goldfields-ghana-jobs-unit-manager","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/joblistghana.com\/goldfields-ghana-jobs-unit-manager.html","title":{"rendered":"Goldfields Ghana Jobs: Unit Manager"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Abosso Goldfields Ltd, Damang Gold Mine<\/strong>, a subsidiary of Gold Fields Limited and located in the Western Region of Ghana is looking for a qualified person to fill the above vacant position<\/p>\n<p><strong>Purpose of Job:<\/strong><br \/>\nReporting to the Financial Manager, the incumbent will provide management with accurate and timeous information which measures the company&#8217;s performance with respect to cost and production for decision making purposes<\/p>\n<p><strong>Key Responsibilities:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Preparing periodic financial reports to assist in management decision making<br \/>\nEnsuring confidentiality of information at all times<br \/>\nPreparing and maintaining Performance Monitoring reports on cost and production<br \/>\nManagement of deadlines and critical Calendar times such as Financial Year end reports<br \/>\nCollation and the preparation of all Departmental budgets including the total budget preparation for the mine<br \/>\nAssisting with the preparation\/compiling all financial schedules and forecasts for the Life of Mine<br \/>\nEnsuring the proper administration of Accounting and Fixed Assets systems<br \/>\nEstablishing and maintaining good communication channels between departments to allow accurate and timeous dissemination of relevant information to the right people<br \/>\nLiaising with Departmental Head to check departmental costs<br \/>\nMaking inputs in the preparation of Expatriate and Senior Employees&#8217;
