{"id":1070,"date":"2010-10-08T10:05:06","date_gmt":"2010-10-08T10:05:06","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/joblistghana.com\/?p=1070"},"modified":"2010-10-08T10:05:06","modified_gmt":"2010-10-08T10:05:06","slug":"valley-view-university-director-of-finance","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/joblistghana.com\/valley-view-university-director-of-finance.html","title":{"rendered":"Valley View University: Director of Finance"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>The Director of Finance <\/strong>shall be accountable to the Vice President for Financial Administration and ultimately to the <strong>Vice-Chancellor<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Main Responsibilities:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Ensuring correct legal entity Income Statement and Balance Sheets<br \/>\nEnsuring compliance to internal and external financial reporting requirements<br \/>\nProvision of expert financial advice<br \/>\nConduct financial reporting in a timely manner<br \/>\nEnsuring alignment with global financial processes and accounting directives<br \/>\nSupervising the day-to-day financial transactios of the University<br \/>\nGive advice and recommendation on the financial progression and growth of the University<br \/>\nTaking full charge of and directing the work of Accounting Sections or a schedule and be able to perform all types of work pertaining to the control of the University expenditure<br \/>\nRegularly reviewing and reconciling various control accounts and reporting to the Vice President for Financial Administration<br \/>\nTaking responsibility for the efficient collection of revenue, the maintenance of detailed accounts of the University, as well as the training ad general supervision of personnel<br \/>\nAny other responsibilities that may be assigned him\/her by the Vice Chancellor<br \/>\nSalary: Attractive and Negotiable<br \/>\nRequired Skills or Experience<\/p>\n<p><strong>Educational Requirement:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>A degree in Accounting plus any professional Accounting qualification &#8211;
