{"id":10893,"date":"2013-05-28T04:24:33","date_gmt":"2013-05-28T04:24:33","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/joblistghana.com\/?p=10893"},"modified":"2013-12-26T17:49:18","modified_gmt":"2013-12-26T17:49:18","slug":"national-petroleum-authority-3-positions-in-ghana","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/joblistghana.com\/national-petroleum-authority-3-positions-in-ghana.html","title":{"rendered":"National Petroleum Authority: 3 Positions in Ghana"},"content":{"rendered":"<div>\n<p>Applications are invited from suitably qualified persons for appointment as\u00a0<span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong>INSPECTIONS &amp;\u00a0MONITORING MANAGER NORTHERN ZONAL OFFICE, KUMASI<br \/>\n<\/strong><\/span><strong><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><br \/>\n<\/span>Scope &amp;\u00a0General Purpose:<br \/>\n<\/strong>Support the Zonal Manager in the overall supervision of Downstream Regulatory activities for the 5 Regions of the Northern Zone to ensure conformity with best practice and protocols in the petroleum downstream industry in compliance required by the National\u00a0Petroleum Act.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Responsibilities &amp;\u00a0Accountabilities:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Assist the Zonal Manager in the implementation of inspection and compliance monitoring programmes for retail outlets and other facilities of Petroleum Service Providers (PSPs) in the Ashanti, Brong Ahafo, Northern, Upper East and Upper West Regions.<\/li>\n<li>Petroleum Product Marking Scheme (PPMS) team in the Kumasi zone.<\/li>\n<li>Supervise the inspection of the facilities of all categories of Petroleum Service Providers in the 5 regions of the Northern zone.<\/li>\n<li>Monitor the operations of all categories\u00a0of PSPs in the zone to ensure compliance with laid down regulations.<\/li>\n<li>Liaise with the Zonal\u00a0Manager to monitor the work programme of the Petroleum Product Marking Monitoring Team, to ensure optimal coverage of\u00a0all petroleum pproduct retail outlets, bulk facilities as well as BRVs on the highways in the zone.<\/li>\n<li>Liaise with the zonal\u00a0Manager to recommend training and development programmes to strengthen the technical capabilities of all staff in the Zonal Office.<\/li>\n<li>Submit regular reports to the Zonal Manager on inspections and monitoring exercise conducted in the areas assigned.<\/li>\n<li>Perform any other duties that are ancillary to the above or may be assigned by the zonal Manager.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Required Skills or Experience<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<p><strong>Qualifications &amp;\u00a0Competent Skills:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>BSc degree in Engineering\/Sciences, or other relevant field<\/li>\n<li>Minimum of 3 years working experience in a relevant industry<\/li>\n<li>Excellent skills in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Power point)<\/li>\n<li>Strong problem solving skills, attention to detail and accuracy<\/li>\n<li>Ability to work cooperatively and collaboratively with all levels of employees, Management, and external agencies to maximize performance, creativity, problem solving, and results<\/li>\n<li>Value others, communicate effectively, collaborate with others, and demonstrate high integrity.
