With a turnover in excess of $1.5Bn they are recognised as the premier global employer in their field offering tangible opportunities for personal and professional development.<\/p>\n<p>The business continues to invest in innovation and is enjoying significant, sustained growth throughout each of its territories.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Description<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<p>Kal Tire is a mature business in West Africa with more than 20 years experience in the country and we are now looking to recruit a professional Human Resources Manager to support continuing development.<\/p>\n<p>The Human Resources Manager is responsible for developing, managing and implementing Kal Tire\u2019s HR policies and structures; and to providing positive admin support to operational and strategic growth requirements within agreed budgets.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Responsibilities:<br \/>\n<\/strong>Recruitment and Administration<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Liaise with line managers to determine recruitment needs.<\/li>\n<li>Create job specifications, advertising and conducting first interviews against set competencies.<\/li>\n<li>Manage Ex-pat visa allocations and immigration requirements<\/li>\n<li>Prepare team member induction process and organize induction for new recruits.<\/li>\n<li>Organize and support Kal Tire team member training programme, in Ghana or externally.<\/li>\n<li>Administer and support Kal Tire Ghana business:\n<ul>\n<li>IT and telecom systems and requirements<\/li>\n<li>Kal Tire buildings infrastructure, upkeep, furniture and fittings<\/li>\n<li>Kal Tire branding \u2013 signage, branded clothing, stickers<\/li>\n<li>Rental agreements<\/li>\n<li>Utilities, security, cleaning and other contractors<\/li>\n<li>Flights and hotel bookings.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>Create and manage administration and labour budget.<\/li>\n<li>Provide advice and guidance in working with the labour agreements.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Health and Safety:<br \/>\n<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Develop Safe work performance strategies.<\/li>\n<li>Manage and report safe work performance monthly reports as specified by Kal Tire Group.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Programs:<br \/>\n<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\u00a0Create, implement and manage of Kal Tire\u2019s HR strategy and policies, including:\n<ul>\n<li>HR personnel management database<\/li>\n<li>Job specification roles for each post in conjunction with line managers. Responsibility for maintaining live database of roles in Takoradi<\/li>\n<li>Recruitment adverts and interview competency testing programme<\/li>\n<li>Succession planning and mentoring process<\/li>\n<li>Salary and pay scale structure<\/li>\n<li>Disciplinary procedures<\/li>\n<li>Holiday rosters and entitlements.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>Design and implement HR policies and guidelines for professional &amp; managerial team members.<\/li>\n<li>Negotiate; rewrite and ensure settlement of CBA and other GMU related issues with Senior Management.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure Kal Tire Ghana comply with all applicable laws and regulations in country.<\/li>\n<li>Identify and establish suitable Kal Tire social welfare fund that delivers an agreed sustainable benefit to the local community.<\/li>\n<li>Organize and deliver all Kal Tire sponsored social or business events, conferences and other events as necessary.<\/li>\n<li>Contribute to regional strategy development and implementation.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Key Performance Indicators:<br \/>\n<\/strong>The Key Performance Indicators are evolving and currently include:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\u00a0HR programs are created to ensure best practices within corporate guidelines and legislative requirements.<\/li>\n<li>The best HR practices are followed to find and train competent team members to meet the needs of the business.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<p><strong>Required Skills or Experience<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Job\u00a0Qualifications:\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><em id=\"__mceDel\"><strong>Work Experience<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>At least 5 years Human Resources management within an industrial environment, preferably in mining,\u00a0manufacturing and or in sales.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Knowledge, Skill and Abilities:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Excellent organizational and interpersonal communication skills.<\/li>\n<li>Strong computer experience particularly with the use of spreadsheets.<\/li>\n<li>Accurate data input skills with aptitude for figures and statistics.<\/li>\n<li>Ability to present information in forms, tables and spreadsheets.<\/li>\n<li>Strong analytical, problem solving, negotiating, influencing, prioritization, decision-making, and conflict resolution skills.<\/li>\n<li>Ability to communicate with a wide range of people both verbally and written.<\/li>\n<li>Ability to exercise sound judgment to identify and resolve problems.<\/li>\n<li>Able to deliver effective results, meet tight deadlines and targets, under pressure.<\/li>\n<li>Experience of undertaking administrative work in an office environment.<\/li>\n<li>Able to respond positively to change.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>\u00a0Education:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Post secondary diploma or degree in Human Resources and or Administration.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Kal Tire AIMS:<br \/>\n<\/strong>Must be consistently able to demonstrate the Kal Tire AIMS:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Earn trust of customers by providing them with quality and value of service and products<\/li>\n<li>Work productively, efficiently, and contribute<\/li>\n<li>Work towards expansion of the company and maintain competitiveness in the industry<\/li>\n<li>Honesty and Integrity<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>How To Apply<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<p>\u00a0To apply follow our online application process at:\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/careers-bondhumancapital.icims.com\/jobs\/1091\/human-resources-manager---west-africa\/job\">https:\/\/careers-bondhumancapital.icims.com\/jobs\/1091\/human-resources-manager&#8212;west-africa\/job<\/a><\/p>\n<p>or send your CV to:\u00a0<a href=\"mailto:leon.welsh@bondhumancapital.com\">leon.welsh@bondhumancapital.com<\/a><\/p>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Kal Tire are the world\u2019s largest Earthmover Tyre Distributor, supplying goods and services across 5 continents in more than 20 countries.
