{"id":10958,"date":"2013-06-01T08:27:36","date_gmt":"2013-06-01T08:27:36","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/joblistghana.com\/?p=10958"},"modified":"2013-12-26T09:10:21","modified_gmt":"2013-12-26T09:10:21","slug":"camfed-ghana-jobs-2-positions","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/joblistghana.com\/camfed-ghana-jobs-2-positions.html","title":{"rendered":"Camfed Ghana Jobs: 2 Positions"},"content":{"rendered":"<div>\n<p><strong>Job Title 1:\u00a0Finance Manager<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Camfed Ghana is seeking to recruit motivated and dynamic individuals to support its programmes.\u00a0Under the direction of the Head of Finance, the Finance Manager is responsible for the day-to-day maintenance and smooth running of an accurate and up-to-date accounting system; providing management information for planning, control and decision making, providing timely and accurate financial reports.<br \/>\n<strong><br \/>\nSpecific duties and responsibilities include:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Ensuring accurate and timely entry of data into\u00a0Sun Systems and maintaining complete documentation of all financial transactions and audit trails, involvement in budgeting process, forecast and financial planning, provision of financial management advice and other technical support to functional departments, preparing cash flow forecast and monitoring daily cash position, ensuring monthly and timely analysis and reconciliation of all balance sheet accounts, production of fortnight, monthly and quarterly management and donor reports, supporting the preparation of financial report packs and annual accounts, supervising and managing the performance of the finance team for effective delivery, working with Head of Finance to put in place a system which ensures that all major risks are identified, analysed, mitigated and monitored on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis and any other duties as defined by line manager.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Required Skills or Experience<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<p>The successful candidates must have strong social and interpersonal skills, an eye for accuracy and detail, ability to use own initiatve and work unsupervised and the flexibility to travel.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>You must have a postgraduate degree in\u00a0Finance\/Accounting, a chartered professional qualification (CA, ACCA, CIMA, or its equivalent), a minimum of 5 years of experience in international development sector, including donor grants management, good knowledge of international development issues particularly, gender and education and experience of working with an international NGO.<\/li>\n<li>You must have strong leadership, strategic planning and project management and scheduling skills.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>How To Apply<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<p>More information about the positions can be found at our website:\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.camfed.org\/jobs\">www.camfed.org\/jobs<\/a>.
