Work closely with staff and other stakeholders to identify and maximise opportunities to use technology to improve business processes, promote the strategic use of information technology.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Responsibilities &amp;\u00a0Accountabilities:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Responsible for the maintenance &amp;\u00a0management of all the Authority&#8217;s IT facilities and data centers<\/li>\n<li>Supervise the design, implementation and secure operation of the enterprise network infrastructure that supports the Authority&#8217;s messaging systems and content<\/li>\n<li>Supervise the establishment and review of organisational policies, procedures and standards for the provision and usage of IT services within the Authority<\/li>\n<li>Maintain compliance with approved international IT standards and best practice for the deployment and provision of IT infrastructure &amp; services<\/li>\n<li>Ensure compliance with all appropriate IT legislation including software licensing laws<\/li>\n<li>Develop and control the IT security policy, monitor and counsel staff on compliance, advise management on potential security breaches &amp; security incident response<\/li>\n<li>Develop and implement appropriate metrics to measure and report IT service level performance, trends and problem resolution<\/li>\n<li>Maintain an accurate and current IT asset register<\/li>\n<li>Supervise the timely maintenance and development of content for the Authority&#8217;s website\u00a0<span style=\"font-size: 13px;\">\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<p><strong>Required Skills or Experience<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Qualification in IT or relate discipline<\/li>\n<li>MCSE or CCNA\/MCITP would be an advantage<\/li>\n<li>Minimum of 3 years post qualification experience in a managerial position<\/li>\n<li>Ability to exercise independent judgement and creative problem-solving techniques in a highly complex environment using leading-edge technology and\/or diverse user systems<\/li>\n<li>Strong business planning, analytical and conceptual skills<\/li>\n<li>Must have proficient knowledge in the following areas:\n<ul>\n<li>Computer hardware and software systems<\/li>\n<li>Computer networks, network administration and network installation\/security<\/li>\n<li>Troubleshooting, viruses and security<\/li>\n<li>E-mail and internet programmes<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>Must demonstrate the following skills:\n<ul>\n<li>Ability to install and administer IT systems<\/li>\n<li>Hardware, software and networks<\/li>\n<li>Analytical, problem-solving skills and decision-making skills<\/li>\n<li>Effective verbal, presentation and communications skills<\/li>\n<li>Initiative and timeliness in the execution of tasks<\/li>\n<li>High level of integrity and results-oriented<span style=\"font-size: 13px;\">\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<p><strong>How To Apply<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Interested and suitably qualified candidates should send their applications with detailed curriculum vitae and copies of relevant certificates to:<\/p>\n<div><strong>The Chief Executive<br \/>\nNational\u00a0Petroleum Authority<br \/>\nHouse No. 11, 5th\u00a0Circular Road<br \/>\nC.P.M.B.
