{"id":11044,"date":"2013-06-07T05:03:10","date_gmt":"2013-06-07T05:03:10","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/joblistghana.com\/?p=11044"},"modified":"2013-12-26T17:21:35","modified_gmt":"2013-12-26T17:21:35","slug":"national-labour-commission-3-positions","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/joblistghana.com\/national-labour-commission-3-positions.html","title":{"rendered":"National Labour Commission: 3 Positions"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Job Title 1:\u00a0Principal Industrial Relations Officer<\/strong><\/p>\n<div>\n<p>The National Labour Commission (NLC) established under the Labour Act, 2003, (Act 651) invites suitably qualified persons to occupy the above position.<em><br \/>\n<\/em><br \/>\n<strong>Department:\u00a0<\/strong>Industrial Relations<\/p>\n<p><strong>Main\u00a0Duties:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Conduct investigations into labour and\/or technical disputes and related issues as may be directed<\/li>\n<li>Participate in the settlement of industrial disputes through facilitation<\/li>\n<li>Draft Rulings and Agreements on settled cases<\/li>\n<li>Prepare quarterly periodic reports on various issues that result in labour agitations and disputes<\/li>\n<li>Co-ordinate the conduct of research into labour issues and other related areas and make recommendations to the Head of\u00a0Department for consideration<\/li>\n<li>Attend to enquiries of Facilitation Panels<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Salary:<\/strong>\u00a0The salary level attached to each of the above position is attractive and commensurate to the position.<span style=\"font-size: 13px;\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<p><strong>Required Skills or Experience<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>A minimum of Bachelor&#8217;s Degree from a recognised tertiary institution in Human\u00a0Resource Management (HRM), Sociology or related field<\/li>\n<li>A post-graduate qualification in related discipline will be an added advantage<\/li>\n<li>A minimum of nine (9) years working experience in similar or related field<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Additional\u00a0Requirements:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Diploma\/Certificate in Industrial Relations<\/li>\n<li>Knowledge and\/or Experience in\u00a0Collective Bargaining<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Competencies:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Application of the Labour Act 2003, (Act 651);
