{"id":11053,"date":"2013-06-10T02:28:37","date_gmt":"2013-06-10T02:28:37","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/joblistghana.com\/?p=11053"},"modified":"2013-06-10T02:28:37","modified_gmt":"2013-06-10T02:28:37","slug":"care-international-in-ghana-4-positions","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/joblistghana.com\/care-international-in-ghana-4-positions.html","title":{"rendered":"CARE International in Ghana: 4 Positions"},"content":{"rendered":"<div>\n<p>CARE International in Ghana is inviting applications from qualified persons to fill the positions of 1 Project Manager for a new Project; \u201c<strong>Driving Financial Inclusion through mobile Money<\/strong>\u201d.The project will facilitate the formation of community managed savings and loans groups, link mature groups to formal financial services and also develop a scalable model for scaling up linkages.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title 1: Project Manager<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Summary:<br \/>\n<\/strong>The position will have the key responsibility of managing relationship between CARE, Financial Institutions, and mobile network operators well as explore and forge linkages of these institutions to Community Savings and Loans groups.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Key Responsibilities:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Lead the project implementation planning and budgeting process.<\/li>\n<li>Spearhead the implementation of the work plans and strategies.<\/li>\n<li>Develop and support an excellent working relationship with and\u00a0 between implementing partners and CARE<\/li>\n<li>Implement the CARE performance management system with all direct supervisees.<\/li>\n<li>In collaboration with the Program Coordinator,\u00a0 support\u00a0 the Grants manager in the preparation of sub grants.<\/li>\n<li>Establish and define guidelines through MoUs to strengthen partnerships arrangements.<\/li>\n<li>Establish and maintain systems to facilitate timely and accurate flow of program information between the different partnerships.<\/li>\n<li>Engage with MFIs, Banks and mobile Network operators to identify and develop appropriate products for VSLA clients.<\/li>\n<li>Facilitate development of appropriate capacity building tools for clients and partner staff in the area of linkages.<\/li>\n<li>Support the M&amp;E unit in the development of quality M&amp;E tools and operationalization of these tools.<\/li>\n<li>Engage with other NGOs\/ INGOs involved in VSLA or community managed microfinance programs and identify issues for joint lobbying and advocacy.<span style=\"font-size: 13px;\">\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<p><strong>Required Skills or Experience<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Graduate\/ Post Graduate qualification in Business Management or Economics or Commerce or a related field.<\/li>\n<li>Must have at least 3 years management level work experience in the private sector in a service industry preferably financial services or telecommunications.<\/li>\n<li>Prior experience of working in microfinance product development and developing linkage between Community Managed Savings and Loan Associations and formal financial institutions will be an added advantage.<\/li>\n<li>The candidate must have high degree of analytical and financial analysis skills and excellent communication skills.<\/li>\n<li>Adherence to CARE\u2019s core values (Respect, Integrity, Commitment &amp; Excellence) and competencies.<span style=\"font-size: 13px;\">\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<p><strong>How To Apply<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Interested candidates should submit their applications and detailed CVs to the HR Officer, CARE International in Ghana or electronically to:\u00a0<a href=\"mailto:hr.ghana@co.care.org\">hr.ghana@co.care.org<\/a>.\u00a0<em><strong><\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n<p>PLEASE INDICATE CLEARLY IN THE SUBJECT LINE WHICH OF THE POSITIONS YOU ARE APPLYING FOR.\u00a0Closing date for submission of applications is Tuesday, 18th June, 2013.
