The successful applicant will be responsible to provide leadership and management in all contract processes to achieve World-Class Contracting Standards in Gold Fields Ghana Limited<\/p>\n<p><strong>Key Responsibilities:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Ensure that processes are in place to support the legal, ethical and operational requirements involved in the sourcing and acquisition of Services, Material and Equipment<br \/>\nDevelop minimum standards for planning, as closely as possible, with respect to pricing and anticipated consumption<br \/>\nProvide pragmatic guidance on all aspects of the contract management processes: Procurement planning, Solicitations, Bid Evaluation, Source selection, Contract negotiation and formation, Contract types and pricing arrangements, contract legal issues, Contract administration, Termination and Closeout<br \/>\nResponsible for contracting activities at a Mine site, Regional and Global level<br \/>\nDo analysis on: Markets, Spending, Consumption and others, as required<br \/>\nImplement Contracting Policies and Procedures<br \/>\nProvide minimum standards for the procurement of Capital materials to satisfy customer and commercial requirements in alignment with market conditions<br \/>\nRequired Skills or Experience<\/p>\n<p>Key Requirements:<\/p>\n<p>Must possess a commercial or technical qualification in relevant discipline<br \/>\nDemonstrate good understanding of Supply Chain Operations, Contract Management, Sourcing for Capital Services, and Direct Purchasing and Stock Management within the supply\/utility operations of large resource<br \/>\nEither qualified or experienced in Inventory Management processes and the interface with Warehouse Management<br \/>\nPossess a Commercial or Technical Qualification in relevant business discipline<br \/>\nTen years Management experience<br \/>\nSound understanding of project methodologies and experience in project management<br \/>\nExperience in Procurement and Contracts Management<br \/>\nDemonstrated Supervision and Leadership skills or aptitude<br \/>\nExcellent mathematical and evaluation skills<br \/>\nWell developed oral and written communication skills<br \/>\nComputer literacy in Microsoft word, Excel, Power point and spread sheets<br \/>\nExperience in SAP Business processes<br \/>\nMedical fitness for the position and environment<br \/>\nA valid Ghanaian driver&#8217;s license<br \/>\nIt will be advantageous if candidates have:<br \/>\nWork experience outside home country, and have resided in a camp environment<br \/>\nVery good contract experience<\/p>\n<p><strong>How To Apply<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Interested applicants should submit their curriculum vitae to: Martin van der Merwe &#8211;<\/p>\n<p>Human Resources Manager<br \/>\nTarkwa Gold Mine<br \/>\nP.
