it deals in tertiary health care and which also serves as a teaching facility for the College of Health Sciences of the University of Ghana announces the vacancy of the<\/span>\u00a0<strong>Chief Executive Officer (CHIEF ADMINISTRATOR)<\/p>\n<p><\/strong><strong><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Object of the Position<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>To provide overall leadership, coordination, direction and supervision of the operations of the Hospital.<br \/>\n<b><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Duties and Responsibilities<\/span><\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Provide strategic leadership and direction for day-to-day management and administration of the Hospital<\/li>\n<li>Ensure effective collaboration and coordination of all Departments and Units within the Hospital, the College of Health Sciences and other Health Training Institutions on the Korle Bu Campus<\/li>\n<li>Formulate and implement internal policies and progammes of the Hospital<\/li>\n<li>Ensure effective financial management and preparation and submission of relevant reports to the Board<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Perform any other duty that may be assigned by the Board and the Ministry from time to time.<span style=\"font-size: 13px;\">\u00a0<\/span><\/div>\n<div>\n<p><strong>Required Skills or Experience<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><b><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Qualification and Experience<\/span><\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>A minimum of a good Masters Degree from a recognized university in social or Health Sciences with not less than twelve (12) years post qualification relevant work experience, three (3) years of which must be in a Senior Management position preferably within the Health Sector<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Skills and Abilities<\/span><\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Administrative and supervisory skills<\/li>\n<li>Computer literacy<\/li>\n<li>Communication and interpersonal skills<\/li>\n<li>High proactive attitude and a good team player<\/li>\n<li>Good analytical skills<\/li>\n<li>Very conversant with the Ghana Health Services and Teaching Hospitals Act (Act 525), Financial Administration Act, Public Procurement Act and Internal Audit Agency Act.<span style=\"font-size: 13px;\">\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<p><strong>How To Apply<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Applications should be forwarded not later than\u00a0<b>22ND\u00a0July, 2013<\/b>\u00a0together with supporting documents, a statement of applicants vision for the Hospital, C.V, office and residential telephone numbers, names and addresses of three (3) referees, to:<\/p>\n<p><strong><\/strong><a href=\"mailto:info@moh.gov.gh\">info@moh.gov.gh<\/a><\/p>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Korle-Bu Teaching Hospital is an agency of the Ministry of Health;
