Staff in this grade will be required to show high qualities of sound judgement, initiative, resourcefulness, precision and professionalism in their area of specialisation.\u00a0The Procurement Officer shall be responsible to the Rector in the management of the Procurement Department.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title:\u00a0Procurement Officer<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Duties:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Provides input for the formulation of procurement strategy.<\/li>\n<li>Supervises the maintenance and updating of proper database of suppliers, service providers and consultants.<\/li>\n<li>Assists in monitoring contracts to ensure compliance with contract terms.<\/li>\n<li>Advises management on procurement related issues.<\/li>\n<li>Prepares procurement plans for goods, works and services for the Polytechnic.<\/li>\n<li>Prepares tender bids.<\/li>\n<li>Any other duties that may be assigned by the Rector.<span style=\"font-size: 13px;\">\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<p><strong>Required Skills or Experience<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>A minimum of Master&#8217;s degree in Procurement Management.
