Job Title 1: Grants and Subcontracts Manager<\/strong><\/p>\n

We are recruiting grants and subcontracts managers<\/strong> for these anticipated multi\u00adyear projects. These grants and
\nsubcontracts specialists will be responsible for managing project grants to NGOs and building institutional capacity in
\ngrants management under a Grants Under Contract (GUC) mechanism. They will also be responsible for managing project
\nsubcontracts.<\/p>\n

Required Skills or Experience<\/strong>
\nQualifications for this position:<\/strong>
\n5 years of demonstrated experience and success in grants management, including Grants Under Contract (GUC);
\nDemonstrated knowledge of USAID financial and management systems, regulations and reporting requirements;
\nDegree in business administration, economics, public administration, finance, or closely related field;
\nExperience building the capacity of organizations to apply for, receive, and manage grants;
\nStrong interpersonal and communication skills;
\nFluency in English required.<\/p>\n

Job Title 2: ICT For Education Specialist<\/strong><\/p>\n

Chemonics International Inc, a leading international consulting firm based in Washington, D.C., is seeking long\u00adterm
\nemployees and short\u00adterm consultants for an anticipated four\u00adyear early grade literacy and numeracy program in Ghana.
\nThe project is expected to focus on improving reading and numeracy instruction, teacher training, education management,
\nand materials development in English and mother tongue languages. It will also utilize ICT to strengthen education
\nmanagement and support teacher and student learning.<\/p>\n

We are recruiting senior\u00adlevel ICT specialists for both long\u00ad and short\u00adterm assignments who have experience:
\ndeveloping software and information management systems for government and non\u00adgovernmental entities that deal
\nwith human resource and financial management; OR\u00a0applying ICT in education, particularly in primary school literacy and numeracy instruction.<\/p>\n

Required Skills or Experience<\/strong>
\nQualifications for the position:<\/strong>
\nBachelor\u2019s degree in education or relevant technology field preferred;
\nMinimum of 5 years of relevant professional experience in ICT development and\/or ICT integration in educational
\ntraining, instruction, and assessments;
\nExperience on USAID or other donor\u00adfunded programs preferred, and experience working with non\u00adgovernmental
\norganizations, national and local governments, and the private sector required;
\nExperience designing information mangement systems for government and NGO entities in human resources and
\nfinancial management preferred;
\nExperience with the education sector preferred;
\nFluency in English required.<\/p>\n

\nmanagement, and material development in English and mother tongue languages at the primary school level.
\nWe are recruiting a senior\u00adlevel teacher education specialist to manage in\u00adservice and pre\u00adservice training activities at the
\nprimary education level. It is anticipated that this person will coordinate with regional and district government counterparts
\nto assess, adapt, and deliver trainings to education professionals.<\/p>\n

Required Skills or Experience<\/strong>
\nQualifications for the position:<\/strong>
\nMaster\u2019s degree in education or relevant specialty area preferred or equivalent combination of education and work
\nexperience in education\u00adrelated field;
\nMinimum of 5 years of relevant professional experience developing and managing teacher education activities;
\nKnowledge of the Ghana education system;
\nExperience working with tertiary education systems preferred;
\nExperience on USAID or other donor\u00adfunded programs preferred, and experience working with non\u00adgovernmental
\norganizations, national and local governments, and the private sector required;
\nOutstanding leadership, management, and interpersonal skills;

The early grade\u00a0literacy specialist will provide technical assistance for the development of improved literacy instruction, materials\u00a0development, and teacher training efforts.<\/p>\n

Required Skills or Experience<\/strong>
\nQualifications for the position:<\/strong>
\nMaster\u2019s degree in education, preferably early grade reading, bilingual education, or other relevant area or equivalent
\ncombination of education and work experience in education\u00adrelated field;
\nMinimum of 8 years of relevant professional experience working on mother\u00adtongue language programming;
\nKnowledge of the Ghana education system, particularly the NALAP program and literacy framework;
\nUnderstanding of Ghanaian and English instruction strategies;
\nExperience on USAID or other donor\u00adfunded programs preferred andexperience working with non\u00adgovernmental
\norganizations ad national and local governments required;
\nOutstanding leadership, management, and interpersonal skills;
