\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 Provide guidance and advice to Departments\/Units risk control processes and issues
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 Verify whether the Bank\u2019s operational and financial controls are in place and working effectively
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 Monitor control findings and follow up on remedial actions
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 Debrief management on control findings
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 Ensure procedures are in place to safeguards the assets of the Bank as well as those of the RCBs
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 Carry out regular tests and snap checks to ensure that system of internal controls are followed
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 Investigate frauds, malpractices and other irregularities and make appropriate recommendations to prevent recurrence
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 Conduct inspection engagements at the RCBs and make appropriate recommendations to Directors\/Managements of RCBs for the improvement of internal control systems
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 Development of internal control programmes
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 Ensure RCBs compliance with the Banking Act, 2004 (ACT 673), the Banking (Amendment) Act, 2007 (Act 738)\u00a0 and ARB Apex Bank Regulations, 2006 (L.
