Purpose of the position<\/strong>
\nTo provide communications advice and guidance and to implement CHN communication\u2019s plans for World Vision Ghana in line with the campaign design. The role will specifically ensure that the right communications resources are sought developed and distributed to the relevant audiences.<\/p>\n

Major Responsibilities<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 Working with the Communications Manager to develop and implement communications plans for various World Vision Ghana programmes.
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 Providing communications advice including crafting of relevant messages, use of the right media channels by critically developing strategic solutions to given communications challenges.
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 Preparing written materials, internal newsletters (Vision Talk), press releases, media briefings, Questions and Answers, training documents, presentation materials and other communications products.
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 Working closely with the World Vision videographer\/editor in developing World Vision Ghana documentaries and features.
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 Produce communication resources for World Vision web and social media outlets
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 Participating in communications planning and briefing for example press conferences and media interviews
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 Developing strong media relations with key local and international media
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 Gathering resources for the World Vision partnership offices for Marketing, Communication and Advocacy. Actively contributed to World Vision communications resources like, Scribe, News Vision, Connections and Merlin
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 Media support \u2013 Identification and facilitation of opportunities for World Vision to feature in local media.
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 Photography and dissemination of photographic material to International Body of World Vision
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 Videography and documentary support including idea formulation, conceptualisation and implementation
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 Providing relevant communications training to Sub- Branch and IPA managers
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 Providing relevant communication related support to EDR Department during emergencies
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 Work closely with Marketing, Advocacy and Public Relations team<\/p>\n

Qualification Required & Experience<\/strong><\/p>\n

The following may be acquired through a combination of formal or self-education, prior experience or on-the-job training:<\/p>\n

\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 The holder of the position should have at least a Bachelor\u2019s degree or Postgraduate Diploma in Mass communications\/ Journalism or other relevant training from a recognised university or college.
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 Should have a good command of both spoken and written English.
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 Ability to write creatively and edit communication narratives or resources and reports.
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 Should have good photography skills
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 Should be computer literate and experienced in the use of basic software programmes.
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 Should have adequate understanding of World Vision Operations to be able to work programmatically.
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 Should be creative and a team player
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 Should have media contacts
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 Must be flexible, be ready to travel and work under pressure for long and irregular hours and meet strict deadlines.

\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 At least two years experience in busy corporate communications, print, electronic or social media office.

Purpose of the position<\/strong>
\nDesign, implement and maintain all WV Ghana internal networks and telecommunication systems.<\/p>\n

Support day-to-day operations of LAN\/WAN network connectivity to ensure these are adequate and are operationally optimised to support business needs.<\/p>\n

Major Responsibilities<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 Oversee the day-to-day operation of computer networks including hardware\/software support, training, in World Vision Ghana Head Office, Base Offices and ADPs and special projects
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 Establish network specifications by conferring with all users; analysing workflow, access, information, and security requirements; design router and switch administration, including interface configuration and routing protocols.
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 Plan, design and implement data and voice connectivity for local area network (LAN) and wide area network (WAN) systems. Assist in coordinating and implementing connectivity and infrastructure projects including network and related wiring plans, LANIWAN hardware\/software purchases, Partnership special projects: system installations. Manage network device configurations, backup\/recovery, maintenance and problem-SOlving in the Head Office, Base offices, ADPs and special projects
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 Maintain LAN topologies and usage documentation including hardware\/software applications, support logs and other related information;
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 Maintain existing anti-Spam, anti-spyware and anti- virus systems. Define\/recommend network and security policies and Implement approved policies to minimise risks.
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 Establish network performance management processes to monitor Local Area Networks and WAN links in all projects.
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 Interact regularly with the Service Desk Team, Administrator and GICT to ensure a good user experience of network services.
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 Work with Internet service providers and GICT to ensure that WV Ghana\u2019s Internet and WAN connections are operating according to agreed service levels.
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 Provide and maintain documentation and guidelines to help users in the efficient use of Local Area and
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 Wide Area Networks and services.
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 Plan for and maintain a call tracking system that enables proper tracking of and rapid response to user calls on all network related issues.<\/p>\n

Job Title 3<\/strong><\/p>\n

Purpose of the position<\/strong>
\nThe Project Coordinator for the Building Capacity for Sustainable Livelihoods and Health through Public- Private Linkages in Agriculture and Health Project will be responsible for all country level management and coordination of the CIDA funded World Vision project in Ghana. He\/she will be responsible for the leadership of the project in-country team and achievement for country level results as per the project requirements and Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signed between McGill University and World Vision Inc. He\/she will work closely with the WV Canada Project Manager, WV Ghana Health and Nutrition Specialist (Technical Lead), WV Ghana Grant management team, and partners in the realisation of these goals.<\/p>\n

The Project Coordinator provides overall leadership in the implementation of the project, develops and leads advocacy activities, manages and plans project activities, co-ordinates resources and is responsible for training and sustaining project objectives.<\/p>\n

Major Responsibilities<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 Provide project oversight leadership and technical expertise for Project team and partners involved in the implementation of the project.
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 Prepare and submit quality reports and other project documents. Including case studies and stories of human interest, to donors and other stakeholders as required.
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 Implement sound financial and administrative management processes: manage and monitor all aspects of project planning and budgeting including spending aqainst approved budgets, regular reviews of programme budgets, submission of cash forecasts and timely and accurate financial accounting and reporting
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 Ensure effective coordination and information sharing with key partners to foster increased and creative collaboration for better programme integration. In conjunction with project partners modify implementation plans as necessary
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 Ensure project staff and partners comply with WVI and Department of Foreign Affairs, Trade and Development (DFATD) regulations as contained in the grant agreement
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 Participate in the development of project specific- data collection instruments, including tools for surveys and research data collection and in assessments including baseline, evaluation and research to be conducted in conjunction with the University of Ghana and McGill University. Record and analyse pertinent data as necessary in collaboration with academic partners.
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 Implement World Vision approved performance management processes to ensure that good accountability and stewardship is achieved and project deliverables are met<\/p>\n

Qualification Required & Experience<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 Minimum Qualification required: BSc Nutrition, Public Health or related fields. A Master\u2019s degree is preferred
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 Experience: At least 3 years in development facilitation and research
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 Prior experience in integrated nutrition, health and food security programming is preferred
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 Prior experience in Microenterprise Development
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 Working knowledge of Department of Foreign Affairs, Trade and Development (DFATD), formerly CIDA) regulations.
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 Working knowledge of programmes\/projects cycle management.
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 Ability to maintain effective working relationships with staff and key partners
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 Experience in community entry and mobilisation and development facilitation
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 Working knowledge of proposal writing and negotiation skills
