For detail information\u2019s please visit our web site;\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.farmradio.org\/\" target=\"_blank\"><strong>www.farmradio.org<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title: Programs Manager<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Overall Responsibilities<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Reporting to the Country Director, the Programs Manager is part of the management team and is responsible for technical support to the entire program, overseeing on-going programs reporting, monitoring and evaluation and preparing and following project work plans for Ghana.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Key Responsibilities<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 Participate in programme development, develop concept papers for new proposals and coordinate and participate in the development of project proposals<br \/>\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 Oversee the preparation of all reports including monthly, semi-annual and annual reports, surveys, workshops and technical reports in the district according to the organisation and donor requirements<br \/>\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 Maintain and coordinate good working relations with the Partner Radio Stations, community, the District, line Ministries, and other NGOs partners<br \/>\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 Facilitate project planning, implementation and reviews with all stakeholders<br \/>\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 Actively participate in the development of systems for project monitoring and evaluation, reporting, and other related functions.<br \/>\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 Design project specific monitoring and evaluation tools and instruments in line with the overall organisations monitoring and evaluation system<br \/>\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 Oversee the organisation\u2019s data collection\u00a0 Report writing and data management<br \/>\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 Develop, modify and synchronize all reporting formats in the organisation and regularly review the formats to ensure that all the required qualitative and quantitative information can be gathered through the tools<br \/>\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 Spearhead the design, development and maintenance of the organisation\u2019s Information Management System<br \/>\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 Organise, attend regular review meetings with key stakeholders to monitor progress of overall Farm Radio programs<br \/>\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 Participate in the design of the organisation\u2019s publications such as IEC materials, Brochures and leaflets<br \/>\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 Support staff and stakeholders capacity in Fund raising, project planning, monitoring and evaluation<br \/>\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 Any other duties that may be assigned from time to time<\/p>\n<p><strong>Qualification Required &amp; Experience<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 University Degree (Masters) with background in Development Studies, Agriculture Communication or Project Management<br \/>\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 Understanding experience in integrated developmental issues<br \/>\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 Experience in Agriculture Value Chain Analysis and the role of radio in the value chain\u00a0 Understanding of the countries agricultural developmental issues, constraints and opportunities for improving food security<br \/>\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 Demonstrate experience as developmental professional in planning, monitoring, evaluating programs, managing different projects and report writing<br \/>\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 Networking experience with development partners and in the country and at the international level<br \/>\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 Understand the context of radio and ICTs in the extension delivery<br \/>\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 Demonstrated excellence in project management at all level<br \/>\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 Proven experience in a similar position in reputable international organization<br \/>\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 A minimum of 6 years\u2019 experience with at least 4 years\u2019 experience in similar position<\/p>\n<p><strong>Location:<\/strong>\u00a0Accra<\/p>\n<p><strong>How To Apply For The Job<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Interested applicants should submit the following in addition to cover letter<\/p>\n<p>\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 Detailed curriculum vitae<br \/>\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 Scan copies of relevant certificate of highest educational qualification<br \/>\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 Contacts of three work related referees<\/p>\n<p>Application should be sent to the following address:-<\/p>\n<p><strong>office@farmradiogh.org<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Closing Date:<\/strong>\u00a028 November, 2013<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Farm Radio International (FRI) is a Canadian non-profit organization with a mission to support broadcasters in developing countries to strengthen small scale farming and rural communities.
