World Vision International<\/strong> is a Christian Relief, Development and Advocacy Organization dedicated to working with children, families and their communities worldwide to reach their full potential by tackling the causes of poverty and injustice.<\/p>\n

For over three decades, World Vision has been working with rural communities in all 10 Administrative Regions of Ghana to provide portable water, promote sanitation and hygiene practices, quality education, particularly at the basic level, enhance food security and respond to disasters.<\/p>\n

Job Title: Travel Coordinator<\/strong><\/p>\n

Job Summary<\/strong><\/p>\n

Purpose of Position:<\/strong>
\nTo provide cost effective support to facilitate both local and international travel for World Vision staff and visitors.<\/p>\n

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 Ensure staff and visitors to World Vision Ghana have appropriate travel documents, i.e. Passports and visas.
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 Ensure guest hospitality, facilitate all logistics as needed and communicated properly
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 Assist with work and resident permit application process and follow up for Expatriate and International staff
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 Coordinate travel for all WVG staff and visitors. Arrange and plan timely\u00a0 airport pick-up, reception, in-country accommodation and dispatch of official travelers and visitors to World Vision Ghana
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 Develop a database of all major partners or agencies with regards to Passports, Visas and Airlines
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 Network and liaise with diplomatic missions, immigration services, passport office and other relevant agencies to facilitate the provision of protocol services to the NO.
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 Facilitate in-country shopping and or\/ tour trips by visitors as required
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 Ensure appropriate documents and reports on trips, travel arrangements and\/or related activities are submitted to the Administration Manager on timely basis.<\/p>\n

Qualification Required & Experience<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 Degree in Business Administration or related field
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 4 years relevant working experience in administrative or travel coordination role.
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 Knowledge of French is an advantage
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 Office-based with infrequent travel to the field
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 Must have a valid Ghanaian driver\u2019s license and be able to drive.
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 Must be a committed Christian, able to stand above denominational diversities.
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 Must have excellent inter-personal and human relations skills.
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 Ability to network with other partners or agencies eg. Various Embassies, Passport, Immigration offices, Airlines staff etc.
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 Must have a pleasant and courteous disposition.<\/p>\n

Job Title 2: Fleet Supervisor<\/strong><\/p>\n

Job Summary<\/strong><\/p>\n

Purpose of the position:<\/strong><\/p>\n

This post is to ensure that World Vision\u2019s feet of vehicles are road worthy at all times and that all legal requirements with regards to registration, license and insurance are adhered to and maintain up-to-date data on all vehicles.<\/p>\n

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n

\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 Ensure that new vehicles are processed at the DVLA to ensure they are fully registered and insured in compliance with the legal requirements of Ghana.
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 Ensure all required documentations on vehicles are current and up to date (renewals of road worthiness, insurance etc)
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 Provide supervision to the team of drivers and driver mechanics in the areas of work scheduling and performance appraisals.
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 Ensure adequate stock levels for consumable spares and lubricants.
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 Ensure maintenance schedules for both field and head office vehicles are adhered to.
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 Maintain and update maintenance files for the vehicle fleet. Ensure vehicle log books are filled
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 Liaise with P&C, Police and Insurance company on accident procedures involving organizational vehicles and staff
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 Assist in the selection, training and supervision of drivers ensuring that drivers performances are monitored measured and their capacity enhanced.
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 Generate and submit monthly report\u00a0 to the Finance and Support Services Director on activities \u2013 repair and maintenance, monthly fuel utilization, transport services, accidents, number of renewals, log book filling,\u00a0 per vehicle\u00a0 etc<\/p>\n

Qualification Required & Experience<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 Degree in Mechanical Engineering plus 2 years experience one of which should have been in a supervisory position with administrative responsibility OR HND in Engineering or MVT 3, plus 3 years experience.
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 Experience with diesel engines
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 Office-based with frequent travel to the field
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 Computer Literacy
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 Professional Drivers\u2019 License \u2013 8000 kg
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 Solid Knowledge in electronic and mechanic issues
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 Must be flexible as may be called upon at odd hours.
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 Must be a committed Christian, able to stand above denominational diversities.<\/p>\n
