Total Nigeria Recruits\u00a0Senior Projects Engineer<\/strong><\/p>\n

Main Duties<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 Develop and execute assigned operations projects with multiple project engineers and managers within the region including engineering, procurement, EPCM, owner\u2019s team, and external construction management consultants
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 Develop, maintain and communicate multidiscipline project execution strategies and programmes and co-ordinate their implementation
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 Allocate and co-ordinate the workload of the resources allocated to the project.
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 Supervise project resource levels and report any shortage or excess.
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 Establish what verification needs to be done to ensure that the project work is error free and ensure that allowance is made for the time, resources and training considered necessary for this.
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 Ensure every document generated by the project resources allocated is prepared, checked and approved in accordance with the company\u2019s quality management systems.
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 Take responsibility for the timely completion of projects assigned while meeting all project quality and budget objectives<\/p>\n

Qualification Required & Experience<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 B.S.C\u00a0 degree in Engineering and 5years project engineering, management experience or equivalent combination of training and experience
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 Registered or eligible for registration with a recognized professional association
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 Strong track record of successfully completed projects in the oil marketing industry
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 Familiar with software such as AutoCAD or other project development software
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 Strong knowledge of Safety and Environmental Regulations<\/p>\n

\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 Proven commitment to safe working practices;
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 Ability to effectively delegate while maintaining forward motion on key deliverables
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 Proven team player skills with ability to build and maintain internal and external relationships
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 Strong written and verbal communication skills, excellent business and technical writing
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 Strong organizational, interpersonal, problem solving and analytical skills
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 Strong mentoring, training and coaching to junior colleagues
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 Comfortable and Capable of Leading Teams
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 Ability to Manage Multiple Projects
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 Capable of reading drawings and\u00a0\u00a0 schematics
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 A high degree of technical and project engineering skill together with the management skills and ability necessary to guide and direct the project resources allocated.
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 Proficient in Microsoft Office suite<\/p>\n
