Job Title: Director of Academic Affairs<\/strong><\/p>\n

JOB PURPOSE:<\/strong><\/em>
\nPlan, implement and monitor all academic programmes in line with\u00a0the corporate\u00a0vision and mission.<\/p>\n

DUTIES<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n

\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 Co-ordinate and supervise activities of the Academic Sector including development of course programmes
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 Provide input for the formulation, reviewing and updating of academic policies
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 Ensure timely provision of educational logistics
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 Provide input to\u00a0the strategic planning process
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 Lead in Integrated\u00a0brand marketing, ensuring academic standards and healthy student learning environment
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 Provide other related support for the Office of Graduate Studies and Research initiatives and for those initiatives identified as priorities by University Academic Committee<\/p>\n

Qualification Required and Experience<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 Must possess Master\u2019s Degree from a recognized institution in relevant field and good experience in Higher Education with a minimum of 10 years post qualification working experience,\u00a05 years\u00a0of which must be at senior management level in an educational institution.
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 PhD in relevant field will be an added advantage.<\/p>\n

OTHER QUALITIES OR REQUIREMENTS<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n

\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 A clear understanding and commitment to the philosophy of a regional university is required

\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 A Masters Degree in a relavant discipline with a minimum of 10 years relevant post qualification experience 7 of which must be in senior management position. Acquiring PhD, post-graduate degree or professional qualification in a relevant field will be an added advantage.<\/p>\n
