Our client is one of the largest wire and cable manufacturers in the world. Our client serves a network of 57 manufacturing facilities in 26 countries and has worldwide sales representation and distribution. As part of our clients market expansion strategy, we are looking for highly qualified person to fill the role of\u00a0Business Development Manager\u00a0for West Africa operating from Ghana.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Job Summary<\/strong>
\nThe role will be responsible for organizing, directing and controlling the\u00a0sales and marketing activities\u00a0of the organization in West Africa region Ghana<\/p>\n

Key Accountabilities<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 Responsible to achieve\u00a0 agreed Net Revenue sales targets and Gross Margins
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 Relationship building
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 Identify and gain access to all stakeholders
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 Monitor competitor activities in each account and participates in the development and implantation of appropriate response and proactive strategies
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 Plan, develop, implement and maintain sales strategies to specific key accounts by cultivating relationships and identifying\u00a0opportunities\u00a0in order\u00a0 to facilitate theachievement\u00a0of short and long term sales target
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 Meet all customer expectations and all placements
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 Justify clear and quantifiable value to the clients in order to differentiate General Cable products\u00a0 from our competitors
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 Understanding where all the costs sit\u00a0 within the procurement channel
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 Analyse customer complaints and ensure that feedback is given
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 Representing General Cable at conferences, road shows and meetings
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 Arrange factory visits with customers
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 Manage any tender bid process if required
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 Report on Market Conditions and Competitor Activities weekly within Ghana and where possible the Region
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 Acquire , improve technical Knowledge of General Cable product offerings
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 Conduct yourself in a professional manner according to General Cable Values
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 Being a Brand Ambassador that reflect the Company ethics and values
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 Develop high standard of written communication (English) and correspondence to customers, suppliers and stake holders.<\/p>\n

Knowledge and Experience<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 Marketing and Sales\u00a0 Professional Qualification
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 The successful candidate should have at least 10 years of experience in a combination of Sales and Marketing &\u00a0Business Development
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 He\/she should\u00a0 be experienced and familiar with the West Africa\u00a0 Ghana\u00a0 cable market conditions
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 He\/she must have technical background gained in the cable industry
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 Sales\u00a0 acumen and a proven track record in Sales<\/p>\n
