Reporting to the Consumer & Market Understanding Manager, the holder will lead the generation of\u00a0insights\u00a0through BIG data analytics across products and processes, and all competitor understanding efforts of MICGH to ensure optimal use of in-house data for Marketing purposes and the competitiveness of MICGH\u2019s offerings and executions. This position requires a keen analytical and strategic mind that is able to absorb large amounts and varied sources of data, while having the capability to see beyond the data to provide intellectual\u00a0insights\u00a0on the market and consumer dynamics<\/p>\n

Job Title 1:\u00a0Business & Competitive Understanding Analyst At Tigo<\/strong><\/p>\n

Key Responsibilities<\/strong><\/p>\n

Big Data Analytics<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 Work with\u00a0Data Warehouse\u00a0to analyze subscriber level data as first line inputs for all Consumer & Market Understanding initiatives
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 Robust data mining that assists with\u00a0insights\u00a0on key business trends (activations, churns, usage growths\/declines,\u00a0market share\u00a0trends, etc)
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 hampion the development of big data analytics skills and usage within the CMU unit<\/p>\n

Customer Profiling<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 Harmonizing big data tools, market research data and official statistics to profile the Tigo customer, users of key products and tariff plans
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 Continuously profile new customers (Gross Adds), inactive customers and churns
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 Assist the Geo-Marketing lead to construct the profiles of customers in various relevant local units of our market<\/p>\n

Competitor Intelligence<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 Lead all competitor understanding and benchmarking needs of MICGH
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 Review and benchmarking of both existing and new offerings in the market (products and services, tariffs, promotions, processes, etc)
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Business performance\u00a0benchmarking (customer\u00a0market shares, revenue\u00a0market shares, ARPUs, MOUs, penetration of key products, etc)
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 Daily, weekly and\u00a0monthly reports\u00a0on key market developments and competitor activities
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 Proactively scan the business environment to identify areas of competitive opportunity and risk
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 Maintain an updated\u00a0SWOT analysis\u00a0of all competitors in our market at all times
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 Deliver specific ad-hoc requests on competitor understanding from various stakeholders

Qualification Required & Experience<\/strong>

Job Title 2: Geo-Marketing and Planning<\/strong><\/p>\n

Role Purpose<\/strong><\/p>\n

Reporting to the Consumer & Market Understanding Manager, the holder will lead the geospatial market and consumer understanding efforts of MICGH to ensure timely availability of location-based market insights and the local relevance of MICGH\u2019s initiatives, offerings and executions.<\/p>\n

Key Responsibilities<\/strong><\/p>\n

Customer and Market Profiling<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 Integrate and analyse\u00a0market research data, official statistics and internal MIS to adequately profile our customers and markets at both national and decentralized levels (territories, regions, circuits, etc);
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 Liaise with various national and local governmental agencies, research institutions and other\u00a0organizations\u00a0to access secondary data for a robust geo-marketing capability;
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 Provide in-depth understanding of regional operational and financial performance<\/p>\n

Footprint Expansion<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 Recommend and drive the prioritization of network coverage expansion efforts with rigorous market analysis;
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 Support Marketing, Customer Operations, Sales & Distribution, MFS and Enterprise Business with insights for roll-out efforts (Outdoor visibility, POS deployment, etc);
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 Lead the development and use of user-friendly GIS tools for spatial awareness, decision making and executions.<\/p>\n

Market Intelligence<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 Lead the benchmarking of MICGH\u2019s regional\/territorial footprint versus competition and customer needs;

Site Performance and Profitability \/ CAPEX Optimization<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 Work with\u00a0data warehouse\u00a0to share regular dashboards for tracking the performance and profitability of sites (2G and 3G traffic, revenues, subscribers, various quality indicators);
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 Share insights and recommendations for initiatives to improve performance of low performing sites \/ branches.<\/p>\n

Execution Excellence<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 Work with TMs, DSMs, DCMs, BICs and various own branches to ensure rigor in the execution of various MICGH\u2019s localized initiatives;<\/p>\n
