{"id":12028,"date":"2014-06-20T00:27:29","date_gmt":"2014-06-20T00:27:29","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/joblistghana.com\/?p=12028"},"modified":"2014-06-20T07:58:22","modified_gmt":"2014-06-20T07:58:22","slug":"head-section-production-ghacem-limited","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/joblistghana.com\/head-section-production-ghacem-limited.html","title":{"rendered":"Head of Section \u2013 Production At Ghacem Limited"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Ghanacem Limited<\/strong>, a market leader in cement manufacturing in Ghana invite applications from suitable, qualified and highly motivated professionals to fill the following position:- Head of Section \u2013 Production<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title: Head of Section \u2013 Production<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Areas of Responsibility:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Ensure efficient management of operations at the milling and packaging sections of the Production Dept. to meet company set goals and objectives<br \/>\n\u2022 Liaise with maintenance department to carry out effective maintenance on plant and equipment in order to ensure smooth and efficient operation.<br \/>\n\u2022 Manage the Milling and Packing plant to ensure product are produced and dispatched according to approved quality standards and to meet market demand<br \/>\n\u2022 Maintain a good communication with maintenance as well as disseminate relevant information to the different production teams and shifts<br \/>\n\u2022 Ensure accurate recording of production figures and timely preparation of reports.<br \/>\n\u2022 Manage production raw material stock to assure its continuous availability.<br \/>\n\u2022 Plan and propose production schedules and forecast raw material demand for the consideration of the Production Manager.<br \/>\n\u2022 Manage the activities of contract staffs in the department to ensure optimum utilisation of their services<br \/>\n\u2022 Develop the competencies of the team by identifying their training needs and ensuring the relevant training is provided.<br \/>\n\u2022 Ensure efficient management and motivation of teams<br \/>\n\u2022 Ensuring that applicable company policies and agreements are implemented and adhered to<br \/>\n\u2022 Ensure strict adherence to all EHS policies and procedures by all employees<br \/>\n\u2022 Ensure optimum and safe utilization of plant and equipment<br \/>\n\u2022 Liaising with internal and external stakeholders for maximum benefits of the department.<br \/>\n\u2022 Propose department investments and projects for consideration by the Production Manager<br \/>\n\u2022 Any other duties assigned by management<\/p>\n<p><strong>Qualification Required &amp; Experience<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Minimum qualification of BSc. Chemical \/ Mechanical \/ Material Engineering or its equivalent<br \/>\n\u2022 Minimum experience of 5 years of relevant experience of which at least 3 years in a similar management position.
