GENERAL ELIGIBILITY.<\/p>\n

1.Eligible\u00a0applicant<\/span>\u00a0must:<\/p>\n

a.Be a Ghanaian citizen by birth.
\nb.Be of good character.
\nc.Be not less than 18 years and not more than 25 years by 31st December, 2014.
\nd.Be medically fit by Armed Forces standards.
\ne.Be not married.
\nf.Be not bonded.
\ng.Be of minimum height of 1.68m (5\u20196\u201d) for males and 1.57m (5\u20192\u201d) for females. For Military Police only; be of a minimum height of 1.75m (5\u20199\u201d) for males and 1.70m (5\u20197\u201d) for females.
\nh.Must have six (6) Credits (Not less than Grade 6) at BECE including English and Mathematics.<\/p>\n

a.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Administration Branch.<\/p>\n

(1)\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Air Force Police.\u00a0\u00a0 In addition to the General Eligibility applicants must have 6 credits (Not less than C6) at WASSCE including English and Mathematics.<\/p>\n

(2)\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 General Duties Clerk.\u00a0In addition to the General Eligibility applicants must have any of the following:<\/p>\n

(a)\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 6 credits (Not less than C6) at WASSCE including English and Mathematics.
\n(b)\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 RSA Stage II in secretarial duties and credit in typing.
\n(c)\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Typist Grade I and II\u00a0Certificate<\/span>\u00a0from Government Secretarial School.
\n(d)\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Stenographer Grade II Certificate.
\n(e)\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 DBS (Secretarial Option).<\/p>\n

(3)\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Bandsmen.\u00a0In addition to General Eligibility applicants must have 6 credits(Not less than grade C6) at WASSCE including English and Mathematics and any of the following:<\/p>\n

(a)\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Ability to sight-read musical notes.
\n(b)\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Ability to play Wood wind or Brass instruments.
\n(c)\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Proficiency in Basic Music (ABRSM) Grade 4. Theory will be an added advantage.<\/p>\n

(4)\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0General Duties.\u00a0\u00a0In addition to General Eligibility applicants must have 6 credits (Not less than C6) at WASSCE including English and Mathematics.<\/p>\n

(5)\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Hospitality & Catering Management.\u00a0 In addition to General\u00a0\u00a0 Eligibility applicants must have any of the following.<\/p>\n

(a)\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 6 credits (Not less than C6) at WASSCE (Home Economics Option) including English and Mathematics.
\n(b)\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Ghana Education Service (GES) Intermediate Certificate in Hospitality and Catering Management.
\n(c)\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Ghana Education Service (GES) or COVET Certificate II in Hospitality\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 and Catering Management.<\/p>\n

b.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Supply Branch.<\/p>\n

(1)\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Storeman\/Supplier.\u00a0In addition to the General Eligibility applicants must have any of the following:<\/p>\n

(a)\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 6 credits (Not less than C6) at WASSCE (Business Option) including English and Mathematics.
\n(b)\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 City and Guilds or GES certificate in storekeeping\/purchasing and supply.<\/p>\n

(2)\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Cobblers \/ Leather Works & Tailor.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 In addition to the General Eligibility applicants must have any of the following:<\/p>\n

(a)\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Ghana Education Service (GES) Intermediate Certificate in any of the above.
\n(b)\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Ghana Education Service (GES) or COVET Certificate II in any of the above.<\/p>\n

c.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Engineering Branch.<\/p>\n

(1)\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Airframe, Engines, Radio, Electronic, Instruments, Photo and Armament Trades.\u00a0\u00a0In addition to the General Eligibility applicants must have any of the following:<\/p>\n

(a)\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 6 credits (Not less than C6) at WASSCE (Science or Technical Option) including English and Mathematics
\n(b)\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 City and Guilds or GES Certificate in electronics.<\/p>\n

(2)\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Plumbers\/Masons\/Welders\/Machinist\/Carpenters\/Refrigeration\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 In addition to the General Eligibility applicants must have Ghana Education Service (GES) or City and Guilds Intermediate Certificate in the related field.<\/p>\n

(3)\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Safety and Surface.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 In addition to the General Eligibility all applicants must have 6 credits at WASSCE including English, Mathematics and credit in Graphics and Design or Fine Art.<\/p>\n

(4)\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Vehicle Mechanic.\u00a0 In addition to the General Eligibility all applicants must have City and Guilds Intermediate or GES Technical Examination Unit Certificate in Auto Mechanics\/Auto Electrician plus a Professional Driver\u2019s License of minimum class C<\/p>\n

d.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Air Branch.<\/p>\n

(1)\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Air Traffic Controller\/Operations Clerks.\u00a0In addition to General Eligibility\u00a0\u00a0 applicants must have 6 credits (Not less than C6) at WASSCE including English, Mathematics and Integrated Science.
\n(2)\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Aero Firemen.\u00a0\u00a0 In addition to the General Eligibility applicants must have 6 credits (Not less than C6) at WASSCE, including English and Mathematics plus a driving licence class D.<\/p>\n

e.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Medical Corps<\/p>\n

In addition to the General Eligibility applicants must have credit in English and Mathematics (Not less than grade C6) at WASSCE and any of the following from accredited institutions:<\/p>\n

(1)\u00a0\u00a0Nurses\u00a0\u2013\u00a0\u00a0 Diploma: Registered General Nurse (RGN). Certificate: Health Assistants (Clinical)\/Community Health.
\n(2)\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Laboratory Technicians\u00a0\u2013 Diploma in Medical Laboratory Technology.
\n(3)\u00a0\u00a0Laboratory Assistants\u00a0\u2013 Certificate in Medical Laboratory Technology.
\n(4)\u00a0\u00a0Dispensing Technicians\u00a0\u2013 HND\u00a0Dispensing<\/span>\/ Pharmacy Technology.
\n(5)\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0X-Ray Technicians\u00a0\u2013 Diploma in Radiography.
\n(6)\u00a0\u00a0Dental Surgery Assistants\u00a0\u2013 Diploma\/Certificate in Dental Surgery Assistance.
\n(7)\u00a0\u00a0Dental Technicians\u00a0\u2013 Diploma in Dental Technology
\n(8)\u00a0\u00a0Environmental Health Officers\u00a0\u2013 Diploma in Environmental Health and Sanitation.
\n(9)\u00a0\u00a0Environmental Health Assistants\u00a0\u2013 Certificate in Environmental Health and Sanitation.
\n(10)\u00a0\u00a0Field Technician\u00a0\u2013 Certificate in Community Health.
