GENERAL ELIGIBILITY.<\/p>\n

1.Eligible\u00a0applicant<\/span>\u00a0must:<\/p>\n

a.Be a Ghanaian citizen by birth.
\nb.Be of good character.
\nc.Be not less than 18 years and not more than 25 years by 31st December, 2014.
\nd.Be medically fit by Armed Forces standards.
\ne.Be not married.
\nf.Be not bonded.
\ng.Be of minimum height of 1.68m (5\u20196\u201d) for males and 1.57m (5\u20192\u201d) for females. For Military Police only; be of a minimum height of 1.75m (5\u20199\u201d) for males and 1.70m (5\u20197\u201d) for females.
\nh.Must have six (6) Credits (Not less than Grade 6) at BECE including English and Mathematics.<\/p>\n

a.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Executive<\/span>\u00a0Branch.<\/p>\n

(1)\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Boatswains Mate, Radar Plotters and Wireless Telegraphist.\u00a0 In\u00a0addition<\/span>\u00a0to General Eligibility\u00a0applicants<\/span>\u00a0must have 6 credits in WASSCE including English and Mathematics.<\/p>\n

b.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Supply and Secretarial Branch.<\/p>\n

(1)\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Writer (General Duties).\u00a0 In addition to General Eligibility applicants must have 6 Credits at WASSCE including English and Mathematics and any of the following:<\/p>\n

(a)\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Ghana Commercial Examination\u00a0Certificate<\/span>\u00a0Stage II.
\n(b)\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Certificate\/Diploma in Computer\u00a0Software Application<\/span>\u00a0(MS Office) from a recognised institution.
\n(c)\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Stenographer GD II.<\/p>\n

(2)\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/strong>\u00a0\u00a0Writer (Pay).<\/strong>\u00a0 In addition to General Eligibility applicants must have 6 Credits at WASSCE including English and Mathematics and any of the following:<\/p>\n

(a)\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 RSA Stage III in Accounting.
\n(b)\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Diploma in Business Studies (Accounting Option).<\/p>\n

(3)<\/strong>\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Stores.<\/strong>\u00a0 In addition to General Eligibility applicants must have any of the following:<\/p>\n

(a)\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 6 Credits at WASSCE (Business Subjects) including English and Mathematics.
\n(b)\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 GES Technical Examinations Unit Certificate in Storekeeping\/Purchasing & Supply\/Certificate in Logistics &\u00a0Transport<\/span>\u00a0(CILT)
\n(c)\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 CIPS level II.
\n(d)\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 HND Purchasing and Supply.<\/p>\n

(4)\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Physical Training Instructors.\u00a0\u00a0In addition to General Eligibility applicants must have the following:<\/p>\n

(a)\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 6 Credits at WASSCE including English and Mathematics.
\n(b)\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Must be a skilled sportsman in at least two sports with\u00a0proven<\/span>\u00a0participation at district or regional level in Ghana.<\/p>\n

(5)\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Cooks\/Stewards.\u00a0 In addition to the General Eligibility applicants must have any of the following:<\/p>\n

(a)\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 6 Credits at WASSCE (Home Economics option) including English, Mathematics.
\n(b)\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Ghana Education Service (GES) Intermediate Certificate in Hospitality and Catering Management.
\n(c)\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Ghana Education Service (GES) or COVET Certificate II in Hospitality and Catering Management.<\/p>\n

(6)\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Tailors.\u00a0\u00a0 In addition to the General Eligibility applicants must have any of the following:<\/p>\n

(a)\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Ghana Education Service (GES) Intermediate Certificate in Tailoring.
\n(b)\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Ghana Education Service (GES) or COVET Certificate II in Tailoring.<\/p>\n

(7)\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Bandsmen.\u00a0In addition to General Eligibility applicants must have 6 credits(Not less than grade C6) at WASSCE including English and Mathematics and any of the following:<\/p>\n

(a)\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Ability to sight-read musical notes.
\n(b)\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Ability to play Wood wind or Brass instruments.
\n(c)\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Proficiency in Basic Music (ABRSM) Grade 4. Theory will be an added advantage.<\/p>\n

c.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Technical Branch.<\/p>\n

In addition to the General Eligibility applicants must have Certificate in Computing or Information Technology (IT) from any recognised computing or IT Institution as a general requirement for all technical branch applicants.<\/p>\n

(1)\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Engineering Artificers and Mechanics.\u00a0 In addition to the General Eligibility applicants must have any of the following:<\/p>\n

(a)\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 6 credits at WASSCE (Science Option) with Credit (Not less than C6) including English and Mathematics.
\n(b)\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Marine Engine Mechanics Certificate or equivalent from any recognised institution.
\n(c)\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 City and Guilds or GES Technical Examination Unit Certificate or Equivalent certificate from recognised institutions in any of the following:<\/p>\n

(i)\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Mechanical Engineering Craft and Advance Practice.
\n(ii)\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Mechanical Engineering Technical Part II and III.
\n(iii)\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Advance\/Ordinary Technician Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.<\/p>\n

(2)\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Electrical and Weapon Artificers and Mechanics.\u00a0 In addition to General Eligibility applicants must have any of the following:<\/p>\n

(a)\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 6 credits at WASSCE (Science Option) with Credit (Not less than C6) in English and Mathematics.
\n(b)\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 City and Guild or GES Technical Examination Unit Certificate or equivalent certificate from recognised institutions in any of the following:<\/p>\n

(i)\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Electrical Engineering Technician Part II and III (Heavy Power Option)
\n(ii)\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Advance\/Ordinary Technician Diploma in Electrical Engineering (Power Option).<\/p>\n

(3)\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Shipwright Artificers and Mechanics.\u00a0In addition to General Eligibility applicants must have any of the following:<\/p>\n

(a)\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 6 credits at WASSCE with Credit (Not less than C6) in English Mathematics, Metal work or Wood work and Physics.
\n(b)\u00a0 City and Guild or GES Technical Examination Unit Certificate in any of the following:<\/p>\n

(i)\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Advance Craft in Welding and Fabrication, Plumbing, Carpentry\/Woodwork or Painting and Decoration or;
\n(ii)\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Advance or Intermediate Certificate in Welding and Fabrication, Plumbing, Carpentry\/Woodwork or Painting and Decoration.<\/p>\n

(4)\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Radio Artificers and Mechanics.\u00a0In addition to the General Eligibility applicants must have any of the following:<\/p>\n

(a)\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 6 credits at WASSCE (Science Option) including English,\u00a0\u00a0 Mathematics and Physics.
\n(b)\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 City and Guild or GES Technical Examination Unit Certificate or equivalent from recognised institutions in any of the following:
\n(c)\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Advance or Intermediate in Radio, Television and Electronics Servicing.
\n(d)\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Electrical Engineering Technician Part II or III (Electronics Option)<\/p>\n

(5)\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Refrigeration Mechanics.\u00a0 In addition to the General Eligibility applicants must have City and Guilds or GES Technical Examination Unit Certificate or equivalent certificate in Refrigeration and or Air conditioning Technology (Advance or Intermediate)<\/p>\n

(6)\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Vehicle Mechanics and Drivers.\u00a0 In addition to the General Eligibility applicants must have any of the following:<\/p>\n

(a)\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Ghana Education Service (GES) Intermediate Certificate in Vehicle Mechanic and Driving.
\n(b)\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Ghana Education Service (GES) or COVET Certificate II in Vehicle Mechanic and Driving.
\n(c)\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 City and Guilds Certificate in Mechanical Engineering.<\/p>\n

(7)\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Topo Draughtsman\/Architectural Drafting.\u00a0\u00a0In addition to General Eligibility applicants must have any of the following:<\/p>\n

(a)\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Ghana Education Service (GES) Intermediate Certificate in Topo Draughtsman\/Architectural Drafting.
\n(b)\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Ghana Education Service (GES) or COVET Certificate II in Topo Draughtsman\/Architectural Drafting.<\/p>\n

d.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Medical Corps:<\/p>\n

In addition to the General Eligibility applicants must have credit in English and Mathematics (Not less than grade C6) at WASSCE and any of the following from accredited institutions:<\/p>\n

(1)\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Nurses\u00a0\u2013\u00a0\u00a0 Diploma: Registered General Nurse (RGN). Certificate: Health Assistants (Clinical)\/Community Health.
\n(2)\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Laboratory Technicians\u00a0\u2013 Diploma in Medical Laboratory Technology.
\n(3)\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Laboratory Assistants\u00a0\u2013 Certificate in Medical Laboratory Technology.
\n(4)\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Dispensing Technicians\u00a0\u2013 HND Dispensing\/ Pharmacy Technology.
\n(5)\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0X-Ray Technicians\u00a0\u2013 Diploma in Radiography.
\n(6)\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Dental Surgery Assistants\u00a0\u2013 Diploma\/Certificate in Dental Surgery Assistance.
\n(7)\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Dental Technicians\u00a0\u2013 Diploma in Dental Technology
