GENERAL ELIGIBILITY.<\/p>\n

1.Eligible\u00a0applicant<\/span>\u00a0must:<\/p>\n

a.Be a Ghanaian citizen by birth.
\nb.Be of good character.
\nc.Be not less than 18 years and not more than 25 years by 31st December, 2014.
\nd.Be medically fit by Armed Forces\u00a0standards<\/span>.
\ne.Be not married.
\nf.Be not bonded.
\ng.Be of minimum height of 1.68m (5\u20196\u201d) for males and 1.57m (5\u20192\u201d) for females. For Military Police only; be of a minimum height of 1.75m (5\u20199\u201d) for males and 1.70m (5\u20197\u201d) for females.
\nh.Must have six (6) Credits (Not less than Grade 6) at BECE including English and Mathematics.<\/p>\n

a.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Infantry \/Armour\/Artillery\/Military Police.<\/p>\n

In\u00a0addition<\/span>\u00a0to the General Eligibility\u00a0applicants<\/span>\u00a0must have 6 Credits (Not less than grade C6) at WASSCE including English and Mathematics.<\/p>\n

b.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Pay Corps.<\/p>\n

In addition to the General Eligibility applicants must have any of the following:<\/p>\n

(1)\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Six Credits\u00a0(Not less than grade C6) at WASSCE including English and Mathematics.\u00a0 (Preference will be given to candidates with Accounting & Business Studies background).
\n(2)\u00a0\u00a0 RSA Stage III in Accounting.
\n(3)\u00a0\u00a0 Diploma in Business Studies.(Accounting Option).<\/p>\n

c.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Engineer Corps.<\/p>\n

(1)\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Electricians.\u00a0In addition to the General Eligibility applicants must have any of the following.<\/p>\n

(a)\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Ghana Education Service (GES) Intermediate Certificate in Electrical Installation.
\n(b)\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Ghana Education Service (GES) or COVERT Certificate II in Electrical Works.
\n(c)\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 City and Guilds Certificate in Electrical Engineering.<\/p>\n

(2)\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Plant Mechanics\/Fitters.\u00a0 In addition to the General Eligibility applicants must have any of the following:<\/p>\n

(a)\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Ghana Education Service (GES) Intermediate Certificate in Plant Mechanic\/Fitting.
\n(b)\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Ghana Education Service (GES) or COVET Certificate II in Plant Mechanic\/Fitting.
\n(c)\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 City and Guilds Certificate in Electrical\/Mechanical Engineering.<\/p>\n

(3)\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Survey Assistants.\u00a0 In addition to the General Eligibility applicants must have any of\u00a0 the following or equivalent:<\/p>\n

(a)\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Ghana Education Service (GES) Intermediate Certificate in Surveying
\n(b)\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Ghana Education Service (GES) or COVET Certificate II in Surveying.<\/p>\n

(4)\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Painting\/Sign writing.\u00a0\u00a0 In addition to the General Eligibility applicants must have any of the following:<\/p>\n

(a)\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Ghana Education Service (GES) Intermediate Certificate in Painting\/Sign Writing.
\n(b)\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Ghana Education Service (GES) or COVET Certificate II in Painting\/Sign Writing.
\n(c)\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 City and Guilds Certificate in Painting\/Sign Writing.<\/p>\n

(5)\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Plumbers\u00a0 & Masons.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 In addition to the General Eligibility applicants must have any of the following:<\/p>\n

(a)\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Ghana Education Service (GES) Intermediate Certificate in one of the above.
\n(b)\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Ghana Education Service (GES) or COVET Certificate II in one of the above.
\n(c)\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 City and Guilds Certificate in one of the above.<\/p>\n

(6)\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Wood Construction Technology.\u00a0\u00a0In addition to the General Eligibility applicants must have any of the following:<\/p>\n

(a)\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Ghana Education Service (GES) Intermediate Certificate in Wood Construction Technology.
\n(b)\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Ghana Education Service (GES) or COVET Certificate II in Wood Construction Technology.
\n(c)\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 City and Guilds Certificate in Carpentry\/Joinery.<\/p>\n

(7)\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Welding & Fabrication Technology.\u00a0 In addition to the General Eligibility applicants must have any of the following:<\/p>\n

(a)\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Ghana Education Service (GES) Intermediate Certificate in Welding and Fabrication Technology.
\n(b)\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Ghana Education Service (GES) or COVET Certificate II in Welding and Fabrication Technology.<\/p>\n

(8)\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Topo Draughtsman\/Architectural Drafting<\/span>.\u00a0 In addition to the General Eligibility applicants must have any of the following:<\/p>\n

(a)\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Ghana Education Service (GES) Intermediate Certificate in Architectural Drafting.
\n(b)\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Ghana Education Service (GES) or COVET Certificate II in Architectural Drafting.<\/p>\n

(9)\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Plant Operators (Grader, Excavator, Dozer, Backhoe, Wheel\u00a0Loader<\/span>, Low Bed and Compactor Roller).\u00a0 In addition to the General Eligibility applicants must have any of the following:<\/p>\n

(a)\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Ghana Education Service (GES) Intermediate Certificate in any of the plants stated above.
\n(b)\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Ghana Education Service (GES) or COVET Certificate II in any of the plants stated above.<\/p>\n

d.\u00a0\u00a0 Electrical and Mechanical Engineers Corps (EME).<\/p>\n

(1)\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Motor Vehicle Engineering.\u00a0In addition to the General Eligibility applicants must have any of the following:<\/p>\n

(a)\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Ghana Education Service (GES) Intermediate Certificate in Motor Vehicle Engineering with Driving Licence Class D.
\n(b)\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Ghana Education Service (GES) or COVET Certificate II in Vehicle Engineering with Driving Licence Class D.
\n(c)\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 City and Guilds Intermediate (Internal combustion Engines and Motor Vehicles) with Driving Licence Class D.
\n(d)\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 City and Guilds Certificate in Motor Vehicle Engineering Driving with Licence Class D.<\/p>\n

(2)\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Auto Electrician<\/span>\u00a0& Electrical\/Electronic Engineering.\u00a0\u00a0 In addition to the General Eligibility applicants must have any of the following:<\/p>\n

( a)\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Ghana Education Service (GES) Intermediate Certificate in one of the above.<\/p>\n

(b)\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Ghana Education Service (GES) or COVET Certificate II in one of the above.<\/p>\n

(c)\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 City and Guilds in one of the above.<\/p>\n

(3)\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Refrigeration and Air-Conditioning Technology.\u00a0 In addition to the General Eligibility applicants must have any of the following:<\/p>\n

(a)\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Ghana Education Service (GES) Intermediate Certificate in one of the above.
\n(b)\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Ghana Education Service (GES) or COVET Certificate II in one of the above.
\n(c)\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 City and Guilds in one of the above.<\/p>\n

(4)\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Metal Smith & Weapon Fitters.\u00a0\u00a0In addition to the General Eligibility applicants must have any of the following:<\/p>\n

(a)\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Ghana Education Service (GES) Intermediate Certificate in one of the above.<\/p>\n

(b)\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Ghana Education Service (GES) or COVET Certificate II in one of the above.<\/p>\n

(c)\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 City and Guilds Certificate in Electric and Gas Welding.<\/p>\n

(5)\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Office Machine Mechanic & Industrial Mechanic.\u00a0In addition to the General Eligibility applicants must have:<\/p>\n

(a)\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Ghana Education Service (GES) Intermediate Certificate in Refrigeration and Air-Conditioning Technology.
\n(b)\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Ghana Education Service (GES) or COVET Certificate II in Refrigeration and Air-Conditioning Technology.
\n(c)\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 City and Guilds in Refrigeration Technology.<\/p>\n

(6)\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Driver Recovery Mechanics.\u00a0\u00a0 In addition to the General Eligibility applicants must have any of the following:<\/p>\n

(a)\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Ghana Education Service (GES) Intermediate Certificate in Mechanical Recovering.
\n(b)\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Ghana Education Service (GES) or COVET Certificate II in Mechanical Recovering.<\/p>\n

(7)\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Wood Construction Technology\/Creative Art Technology.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 In addition to the General Eligibility applicants must have any of the following:<\/p>\n

(a)\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Ghana Education Service (GES) Intermediate Certificate in Wood Construction Technology and Creative Art Technology.
\n(b)\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Ghana Education Service (GES) or COVET Certificate II in Wood Construction Technology and Creative Art Technology.
\n(c)\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 City and Guilds Certificate in Carpentry and Painting.<\/p>\n

e.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Signals<\/span>\u00a0Corps.<\/p>\n

(1)\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Operation Group.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 In addition to the General Eligibility applicants must have 6 credits (Not less than grade C6) at WASSCE including English and Mathematics.\u00a0 Possession of valid driving license is an advantage.
\n(2)\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Radio Technician.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 In addition to the General Eligibility applicant much have Mathematics, Physics, Elective Mathematics and any of the following:<\/p>\n

(a)\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 City and Guilds Certificate in Electronics.
\n(b)\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 City and Guilds Certificate in Telecommunications.<\/p>\n

(3)\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Line Technician.\u00a0\u00a0 In addition to the General Eligibility applicants must have 6 credits (Not less than grade C6) at WASSCE including English and Mathematics and any of the following:<\/p>\n

(a)\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Certificate in Fibre Optics Technology.
\n(b)\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Certificate in RF Engineering.
\n(c)\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Certificate in Satellite Communications.<\/p>\n

f.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Directorate of\u00a0Information Technology<\/span>.<\/p>\n

In addition to the General Eligibility applicants must have 6 credits (Not less than grade C6) at WASSCE including English and Mathematics and any of the following:<\/p>\n

(1)\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Network Technicians.\u00a0 N+ Certificate from a recognised Institution including knowledge\u00a0in LINUX<\/span>\/Windows Server 2003 and 2008 management.
\n(2)\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Database Administration.\u00a0Certification in MySQL, SQL, and Oracle from a recognised Institution.
\n(3)\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Computer Programming Language.\u00a0Certification inVB, C++ and Java from a recognised Institution.
\n(4)\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Web Design. Certification in HTML, PHP, CSS, CMS and Photoshop from a recognised Institution.<\/p>\n

In addition to the General Eligibility applicants must have 6 credits(Not less than grade C6) at WASSCE including English and Mathematics and any of the following:<\/p>\n

\n(2)\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Supply Clerks\/Storeman.\u00a0\u00a0Certificate in Storekeeping\/Marketing Grade II or Stenographer\/Typist Grade I.
\n(3)\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Movement.\u00a0Certificate in Freight Forwarding\/Air Ticketing\/Cargo Handling from recognised Institution.
\n(4)\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Fireman\/Woman. Certificate in Fire Fighting from National Fire Service plus professional Driving Licences class D.<\/p>\n

(1)\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Information Assistants.\u00a0In addition to General Eligibility applicants must have Diploma\/Certificate (not less than one year continuous study) from a recognised\/accredited institution in Journalism, Public Relations, English Language \/Literature, Broadcasting, Communication Studies or Photo journalism.
\n(2)\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Photographers.\u00a0\u00a0 In addition to General Eligibility applicants must have Diploma\/Certificate (not less than one year continuous study) from a recognised\/accredited institution in general photography.

(a)\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Ghana Education Service (GES) Intermediate Certificate in any of the above.
