Manager \u2013 Database Administration"},"content":{"rendered":"<div>\n<p>The successful candidate shall be responsible for the overall management of ORACLE and MS Sql Database. In addition control of DB systems on daily basis. The role reports to the CTO<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Responsible for ensuring resources support in Testing and Deployment of new components<\/li>\n<li>Provide technical expertise and decision making for DB system environments on issues related to servers, environment and DB configuration.<\/li>\n<li>Investigate and resolve escalated issues within the Database environment.<\/li>\n<li>Communicate, maintain and establish principles and standards related to distributed Database environments to meet end-user and company needs.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<p><strong>Required Skills or Experience<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Bachelor\u2019s degree in computer science, management information systems, or related field.<\/li>\n<li>Seven or more years of Database administration, 2 years preferably in a technical management capacity.<\/li>\n<li>5 \u2013 7 years\u2019 experience with Self \u2013 Monitoring, Analysis and Reporting Technology (SMART)<\/li>\n<li>5 -7 years\u2019 experience with database Clustering<\/li>\n<li>At least 6 years experience with MsSql and Support<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Person Specific Requirement:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Excellent written and Oral communication skills<\/li>\n<li>Possess problem solving skills<\/li>\n<li>Ability to work independently and as a team member<\/li>\n<li>Attention to detail<\/li>\n<li>Enthusiastic and knowledgeable about the Telecoms industry<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>PLEASE SEND CV TO <a href=\"mailto:cv@platogh.com\">cv@platogh.com<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Note: Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted<\/p>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The successful candidate shall be responsible for the overall management of ORACLE and MS Sql Database.
