{"id":12459,"date":"2015-04-10T06:23:21","date_gmt":"2015-04-10T06:23:21","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/joblistghana.com\/?p=12459"},"modified":"2015-04-10T06:23:21","modified_gmt":"2015-04-10T06:23:21","slug":"tullow-oil-recruits-internal-communications-advisor","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/joblistghana.com\/tullow-oil-recruits-internal-communications-advisor.html","title":{"rendered":"Tullow Oil Recruits: Internal Communications Advisor"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Job Title:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Internal Communications Advisor<\/p>\n<p><strong>Location &amp; Team<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Accra, Sustainability &amp; External Affairs<\/p>\n<p><strong>Reports To:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Corporate Communications and Investor Relations Manager<\/p>\n<p><strong>Interacts With:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Internal:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Heads of Department and Senior Managers (TGL)<\/li>\n<li>Group Internal Communications Manager<\/li>\n<li>Sustainability &amp; External Affairs team<\/li>\n<li>All TGL Staff<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>External:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>3 rd Party Service Providers<\/li>\n<li>Other relevant stakeholders<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Supervises:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>None<\/p>\n<p><strong>Responsibilities \/ Key Objectives:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>COMMUNICATIONS<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Alignment of Internal Stakeholders to Corporate Goals<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Develop and implement TGL\u2019s internal communications strategy in consultation with the Corporate Communications &amp; Investor Relations Manager<\/li>\n<li>Partner core functions of the business to roll out change initiatives and new projects as and when required<\/li>\n<li>Create appropriate platforms to provide employees with an in depth understanding of the business; its goals and objectives<\/li>\n<li>Help promote the inculcation of TGL\u2019s core values as a way of life<\/li>\n<li>Ensure relevant internal brand visibility<\/li>\n<li>Engage, Align and Energise employees to become willing ambassadors for the company<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Channel Management<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Develop and deploy systems, processes and channels to facilitate timely two-way communication<\/li>\n<li>Develop a system for identifying and logging internal issues \/ information to inform management decision-making<\/li>\n<li>Develop and manage relevant channels for effective continuous engagement and alignment of employees to business goals<\/li>\n<li>Coordinate the production and distribution of relevant business literature for internal education\/information<\/li>\n<li>Ensure TGL has adequate Intranet exposure by publishing all key events\/activities and other relevant stories about the Business Unit within Tullow<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Business Partnering to Deliver Specific Projects<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Provide communications support to other Functions<\/li>\n<li>Identify and develop communication champions for the various functions to support effective internal communication<\/li>\n<li>Provide support for relevant functional and corporate campaigns (TOES, TOFET, Health Walk, etc) to capture the hearts and minds of employees in the successful delivery of business objectives.<\/li>\n<li>Support the delivery of all corporate events<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Financial Responsibility:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>No direct financial responsibility, however, the incumbent must propose and justify spend plan for all internal communications investments (activities, requisitions, purchases)<\/p>\n<p><strong>Person Specification<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Education:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Must have a minimum of First degree in Communications, Business Management or Social Sciences.
