\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 Supervision of Investigation of security breaches, theft, fraud and other irregularities
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 Supervision of the maintenance of security equipment
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 Produces Information Reports for Information\/action by the respective Departmental Managers
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 Ensures proper security clearances for new staff to be appointed and motor vehicles to be acquired
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 Responsible for security investigations of thefts, fraud and other irregularities
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 Administers security equipment and ensures that the equipment is maintained to standard, using a Maintenance Service Report from the vendor as a management tool
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 Appoints and coordinates Project Committees, using Tender Rules and Procedures to decide on the purchase of major Security Equipment
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 Attends to faults on equipment and liaises with the vendor regarding any specialized cases
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 Attends to security reports on security equipment failure, breach of security procedures, and incidences recorded in the Occurrences Book from Departmental Managers, Security Officers and Guards or from Security System reports
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 Responsible for the production of Equipment Specification Reports when required and to assist in selection of any replacement of new Security equipment
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 Assigns the day to day duties to respective subordinate staff
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 Creates a climate for optimal performance<\/p>\n
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 Relevant Industry certified qualifications
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 At least five years\u2019 experience at managerial level in Corporate Security Management
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 Military, Police and or Law Enforcement background will be an added advantage
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 At least five years\u2019 experience at managerial level in Facilities Security management<\/p>\n
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 Have a high level of business awareness
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 Be analytical and have good judgement
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 Be organized and have the ability to work under pressure
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 Have excellent planning and organizing skills
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 Have excellent oral and written communication skills
\n\u2022\u00a0\u00a0 Be honest, transparent and thorough<\/p>\n
