ProCredit has been operating in Ghana since July 2002 and currently has 24 branches nationwide with more than 650 employees. Procredit Ghana recruits <strong>Head, Procurment Department<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Description<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Responsible for the strategic direction, operational performance and effectively delivery of the institution&#8217;s procurement needs. Provides input and support to the management team in delivering procurement efficiencies (cost, time, quality) and continuous performance improvement<\/p>\n<p><strong>Specific Tasks &amp; Responsibilities:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Planning, implementing and driving the procurement strategy<br \/>\nNegotiating partnerships agreements and managing supplier relationships<br \/>\nOrganizing and controlling tenders and competitve bidding tasks<br \/>\nMonitoring, analyzing and controlling the procurement budget, in collaboration with financial controller<br \/>\nResearching and maintaining an up-to-date knowledge of current procurement legislation<br \/>\nManage staff to achieve diligence, productivity, and compliance in institutional procurement<\/p>\n<p><strong>Required Skills or Experience<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>A good university degree or HND in Purchasing and Supply or related field<br \/>\nAt least three years working experience in a similar position<br \/>\nGood negotiation skills<br \/>\nProven ability to manage people to achieve results<br \/>\nGood analytical and organizational skills<br \/>\nKnowledge in quality standards for office supplies<br \/>\nWe offer an interesting and challenging work opportunity in a dynamic, international environment characterized by flat hierarchies.<\/p>\n<p><strong>How To Apply<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Your application documents should include a motivation statement detailing clearly why you are particularly suited to the position for which you are applying.
