{"id":1296,"date":"2010-10-26T09:02:37","date_gmt":"2010-10-26T09:02:37","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/joblistghana.com\/?p=1296"},"modified":"2013-12-24T16:18:14","modified_gmt":"2013-12-24T16:18:14","slug":"newmont-ghana-jobs-geologic-framework-manager","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/joblistghana.com\/newmont-ghana-jobs-geologic-framework-manager.html","title":{"rendered":"Newmont Ghana Jobs: Geologic Framework Manager"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><a href=\"https:\/\/joblistghana.com\/jobs-ghana\/newmont-ghana\"><strong>Newmont Ghana Gold Limited<\/strong><\/a>, a core operating district of Newmont Mining Corporation which is one of the world&#8217;s largest gold, mining companies.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Description<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The successful candidate will report to the Near Mine Geology Director and will work as part of a team for the evaluation of exploration, development or acquisition opportunities in a significant area of exploration activity, on a major project, or in a mine operation<\/p>\n<p><strong>Essential Duties:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Provide training and growth opportunities to challenge team members while accomplishing site and corporate objectives; Give input for and conduct periodic employee evaluations<br \/>\nCommunicate regularly to management through oral and written presentations<br \/>\nShow strong problem solving skills and ability to develop new applications<br \/>\nMust experienced in generation geologic models for either surface or underground projects<br \/>\nThe duties and responsibilities listed above are representative of the nature and level of work assigned and are not necessarily all inclusive<\/p>\n<p><strong>Required Skills or Experience<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Technical Skills, Education\/Training &amp; Experience:<br \/>\nA Bachelor of Science in Geosciences minimum. Master of Science preferred.<br \/>\nAdvanced degree in Geostatistics or equivalent certification is a plus. Typically more than 10 years of industry experience in mining or exploration.<br \/>\nExperience at multiple sites and production geology preferred<br \/>\nWorking knowledge of French is preferred.
