Applicants must hold a British Passport, an EEA passport. The successful applicant would be expected to start work immediately and will also need to pass (or have passed) the necessary internal requirements before starting work<\/p>\n<p><strong>Main duties of this position will include:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Supporting Entry Clearance Officers and Entry Clearance Managers in the delivery of the UK Border Agency International Group\u2019s key objectives: secure borders, good decisions and the prevention of immigration crime<br \/>\nManaging Visa Operations, Managing &amp; Developing Staff, compiling and maintaining Statistics, providing an efficient Customer Service to the general public in person and by email, communicating and influencing the quality and standards within the UKBA<br \/>\nThe monthly salary range is from GH\u00a21,206 (rising in increments of GH\u00a2 based on performance) plus a 15% responsibility allowance<\/p>\n<p><strong>Required Skills or Experience<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Good communication with excellent spoken and written English<br \/>\nComputer literacy with accurate typing skills<br \/>\nThe ability to remain customer focused, polite and courteous under pressure<br \/>\nThe ability to work quickly and reliably with little supervision to meet challenging targets<br \/>\nAbility to work well under pressure<br \/>\nExcellent team player \u2013 this is an all for one, and one for all environment<br \/>\nFlexibility and a positive attitude to working in a forward thinking, modern and motivated department, which is working at the forefront of visa work.
