The Company currently has its headquarters in Nigeria and production plant in Ghana including 16 African countries.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Description:<\/strong><\/p>\n<div>\n<p><strong>Department: <\/strong>Internal Audit and Control<br \/>\n<strong>Reports To:<\/strong> SBU Head of Audit<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Objectives:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>To provide leadership to the analysts in the validation of financial statements<\/li>\n<li>To ensure improvement in the efficiency and effectiveness of internal operations of the organisation<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Job Responsibilities: \u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Manage the development and monitor execution of the Financial &amp; Operational Audit Plan<\/li>\n<li>Ensure team members possess required skills to conduct financial audits<\/li>\n<li>Ensure that audit procedures are strictly adhered to, including identifying and defining issues, developing criteria, reviewing and analysing evidence, and documentation of processes and procedures<\/li>\n<li>Evaluate financial records and establish risk based audit programmes<\/li>\n<li>Review and validate the financial &amp; operational audit report prepared by the team<\/li>\n<li>Make recommendations to enhance the internal control system<\/li>\n<li>Perform and Manage ad hoc or special audit assignments, investigations as instructed by the SBU Head of Audit<\/li>\n<li>Ensure full utilisation of Audit tools throughout the audit assignments<\/li>\n<li>Oversee and manage the work of the financial and operational audit analysts<\/li>\n<li>Communicate the results, findings and recommendations of audit projects via written reports and face-to-face presentations on a timely basis to the SBU Head of Audit<\/li>\n<li>Maintain all organisational and professional ethical standards and ensure internal audit activities are carried out in compliance with International Standards for the Professional Practice of Internal Auditing (Standards) and IIA Code of Ethics.<\/li>\n<li>Perform peer quality reviews as requested by the SBU Head<\/li>\n<li>Ensure risk assessment is updated to reflect identified controls that will impact the residual risk score.<\/li>\n<li>Perform and Manage ad hoc or special audit assignments and Investigations<\/li>\n<li>Identify training needs of direct reports and recommend training courses\/programmes<\/li>\n<li>Work with process owners to reView managemenfs response to external audit management tetter recommendations, monitor progress on plans to address them and perform follow-up<\/li>\n<li>Assist in the intemal audit engagement planning process<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Required Skills or Experience<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>A first degree in Accounting or any related discipline<\/li>\n<li>A master\u2019s degree in Accounting is or MBA will be an added advantage<\/li>\n<li>Membership of the following professional bodies is an added advantage: <strong>Certified Institute of Auditors (CIA). Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (I CAN), Association of Certified Chartered Accountants (ACCA)<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>Minimum of 10 years\u2019 Financial and Operational Audit work experience<\/li>\n<li>Minimum of 5 years\u2019 experience with a top-tier Audit firm<\/li>\n<li>Experience across multiple industries\/markets e.g Manufacturing, Energy, Utilities etcetera.
