These companies became the debenture holders. Originally registered as \u2018The Ridge School (1959)\u2019, it became necessary to re-register the school in 1966, after the coup d\u2019etat which overthrew the government of Dr. Kwame Nkrumah. Hence the school is now known as The Ridge School (1966).<\/p>\n<p>Originally, the school offered primary education only, but a Kindergarten(KG) was added in 1980 and a Junior Secondary Section in 1991.
