They are currently recruiting for the post of:<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Description<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title: Factory Manager<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Salary range: GHS 1,500 -2,000 a month<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>Industry: Construction\/Real Estate<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>Specialisation: Manufacturing\/Production<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>Company: Ghana UK Construction Limited<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>Job Location: Accra-Tema<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong><u>Job Description\u00a0<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The manager is responsible for the general oversight of all technical and non-technical aspects of running the factory<\/li>\n<li>Responsible for recruiting and training qualified skilled technicians, machine operators, installers, sales staff, drivers and casual laborers<\/li>\n<li>Responsible for developing standard operating procedures and ensuring all internal processes and procedures are adhered to by staff. He is to work diligently to create a culture of health and safety<\/li>\n<li>He must safeguard all assets of the factory and submit monthly production reports to senior management<\/li>\n<li>The manager must have inventory oversight and will be tasked with preventing shrinkage<\/li>\n<li>Has the secondary responsibility to grow sales and increase local market share<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><u><strong>Qualities<\/strong><\/u><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>He\/She must subscribe to a high ethical and professional code of conduct and pledge to represent the company with the highest of professional standards<\/li>\n<li>He\/She must be organized, detail oriented, quality focused, motivated and able to work in a fast paced, time sensitive environment<\/li>\n<li>Must have strong industry knowledge and the ability to develop lower level staff<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<div>\n<p><strong>Required Skills or Experience<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>A minimum of a Degree required<\/li>\n<li>At least 3-5 years working experience<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><u><strong>Preferred Experience<\/strong><\/u><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The candidate must have strong relevant experience especially in the manufacture and cutting of glass.<\/li>\n<li>Relevant experience managing Glass manufacturing &amp; Aluminium(or PVC) Window and door factory<\/li>\n<li>Construction and field experience<\/li>\n<li>Sales &amp; Marketing of products<\/li>\n<li>Job Costing experience<\/li>\n<li>Responsibility for obtaining ISO Certification (much preferred)<\/li>\n<li>Business Development Experience (much preferred)<\/li>\n<li>Strong related technical skills<\/li>\n<li>Industry related certifications<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><u><strong>Required Skills<\/strong><\/u><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Strong technical glass window and door manufacturing skills<\/li>\n<li>Managerial experience<\/li>\n<li>Technical supervisory experience<\/li>\n<li>Computer literacy<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>How to Apply<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Qualified candidates should send their applications to\u00a0<strong><a href=\"mailto:resumeme2015@gmail.com\">resumeme2015@gmail.com<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Ghana UK Construction Limited is a UK construction company based in ghana.
