{"id":13384,"date":"2016-05-23T12:08:00","date_gmt":"2016-05-23T12:08:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/joblistghana.com\/?p=13384"},"modified":"2016-05-23T12:08:00","modified_gmt":"2016-05-23T12:08:00","slug":"district-coordinators-vacancies","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/joblistghana.com\/district-coordinators-vacancies.html","title":{"rendered":"District Coordinators Vacancies"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The District Coordinator is responsible for the Mobile Registration Teams and support during the fieldwork at the District level.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Description<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Job Title: District Cordinator<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Specific tasks to be carried out are:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Responsible for data collection at the District level<\/li>\n<li>Participate in training workshops to be organized by the organization and get well acquainted with the data collection process<\/li>\n<li>Allocate Mobile Registration Teams (comprising Supervisors, Enumerators and Support Staff) to various communities within the District<\/li>\n<li>Manage the usage of Local Community Focal Persons<\/li>\n<li>Facilitate logistics arrangements for the execution of the data collection in the assigned district by providing necessary materials for data collection and making transport arrangements<\/li>\n<li>Provide technical support to Supervisors<\/li>\n<li>Monitor the performance of the Mobile Registration Teams under his\/her jurisdiction through;\n<ul>\n<li>Field visits during the data collection process<\/li>\n<li>Careful review of all daily and weekly reports provided by the supervisors<\/li>\n<li>Assessment of the quantitative output of each team<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>Report the work outputs of the Mobile Registration Teams under his\/her jurisdiction to the Data Collection Coordinator on weekly basis<\/li>\n<li>Supervise and ensure the quality of data collected<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>The work advertised will take place in the following districts: Nandom, Daffiama-Bussie-Issa, Lawra, Sissala West, Sissala East, Jirapa, Nadowli-Kaleo, Wa East, Wa Municipal, Wa West, and Lambussie-Karni.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>The required languages are: Dagaare, Sissale, Wale, Brifor.<\/strong><\/p>\n<div>\n<p><strong>Required Skills or Experience<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Minimum University degree<\/li>\n<li>Experience in managing large field enumeration activities especially in Northern Ghana<\/li>\n<li>Experience in enumeration activities involving modern ICT solutions<\/li>\n<li>Excellent communication skills (written and oral): Sensitivity to and responsiveness to all partners, helpful relations with donors and project staff.<\/li>\n<li>Excellent knowledge of the geographical locations of communities in a chosen district<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>How to Apply<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>For those applying through the internet, please state your name, language, place of residence and preferred district in the subject line of your email.
